I don't make many posts, or topics even, but then I heard about this new heat system from the guys I play with, so I read the post...
What the **** PGI....are you serious? you won't read this and you won't give two *****, but *******... this kind of crap is what is going to drive me away, I love the game, don't get me wrong. But you went the complete wrong direction here.
At this point I am glad I didn't purchase the phoenix project, I was going to buy it, I still may, but not if you put this ******** into the game.

This new heat system rule is not compatible with your hard point system.
If you want to implement it... remove the hard points...

I don't mind the system. I just mind how convoluted it is. And, more importantly, I'm wondering how it is that the new player - I don't mean the guy that just got done with the newbie game and just bought his first customized and pimped out mech but rather the person that JUST installed the game - is ever going to 1) become privy to this information and 2) understand it to avoid the drawbacks. None of the stock mechs will be affected by this change but it isn't like this forum board is even remotely setup to handle this kind of important information. I'd pay good money if we could get this situated like Elitist Jerks (the website, not a derogatory term for posters).
