Players are openly admitting to disconnecting if they don't like the look of what they see. Any perceived disadvantages: too many trial mechs on their team, not enough founder tags, maps they don't like, someone else has DCed, a name they know on the enemy list, a name they know on their team list, chance they may be up against a premade clan, etc etc etc...

This borks it up for the rest of us, thank you very much.

If people DC because someone else has DCed, where's that going to end? No players at all on one team? (That might have some comedy value in itself.)

As it is, most players are fine with playing against the odds or on a map they like a bit less than the others. It's sometimes the best way to learn.

Who cares THAT much about stats? They'll probably be reset with CW for all we know.

So next time you see someone DC on Tourmaline after whining 'not this again, I hate this map', give them an ear full and launch sentinels to hunt them down through cyberspace to subscribe their mailing address to Jehovahs Witness newsletters for the rest of their lives.
