it was alway RandR or Tonnage limit one or the other

RnR won't lessen the amount of heavier machines. In those days I used an assault and the repairs of high end components and engine never dissuaded me.

I just brought in my laptop inside (it was sitting in the car), once it cools off I'll run a test on some mechs in MW4 and see how well they turn compared to the assault mechs in MWO. I'll post some numbers (it will be some crude data, like how fast a mech can turn 360 standing still and then running). This way we'll have somewhat of a basis of how much we should see Assault mechs toned down.

You are seeing assaults dominate because of the implemented game modes, exacerbated by some of the smaller maps.
