So, I would like to see at as a feature sometime down the line in the future, but not at launch, and not right when the Clans get here (the focus when the clans arrive should be on integrating Clan pvp into the game, rather than having to worry about fixing and tweeking a pve engine at the same time they are getting an in game feel for the real balance of the Clans PVP.)

Then launch PVE CO-OP missions for the rest of the IS for people to train and have a spammy good time.

That could generate them a couple hundred K right there.

So please do one thing and do it right instead of two halfcooked solutions - and given a choice I'd rather go for PvP than PvE.

If PVP is balanced, how would having arena style PVE where the mechs are only out to destroy you, with little thought to objectives etc be difficult to implement? It's the most basic of AI needed.
I have faith they could deliver.
I think most people would like the means to coordinate and practice with their lance mates without jumping into PVP.
Make PVE free repair bills and no C-Bill or XP gain and your ammo is replenished at the end of combat.

Pretty much this. I could be wrong but I think the "name-branding" of this product with the "mechwarrior' name is causing confusion between the online-only Battletech games (MPBT) and their followers and the singleplayer games and theirs (Mechwarrior 1-3 and Microsoft whatever.) I was reading elsewhere where a person was "very upset" at the potential for screwing up Mechwarrior by making it online and only online to boot and not incorporating story-based PVE.
I've always been under the impression that this was a continuation of the former rather than the latter. I personally wouldn't particularly want to see story-driven pve introduced.
My $0.02 anyway

Yes, I even made a post somewhere asking why the Beta profile questions asked you for your Mechwarrior experience, but did not list MPBT at all. Makes me a little concerned the devs don't know about MPBT, which is basically what they are trying to create here.
