I am a bit confused on how this will work with the four PP Mechs. We are able to pre-order them for a limited time with these four tiers of packages, but after the package goes away, it will never be available again. When does this offer officially end?

And does this mean the mechs will never be available to purchase at any other time, even with MCs or C-Bills? It's just iffy and I would like some clarification.

Regular variants will be available to purchase with MC and Cbills starting in October with one mech being released per month starting with the Locust and ending with the Batllemaster. The actual Phoenix mechs with bonuses will never be available after the sale is done.

The 4 PP mechs each have a unique appearance plus they have various bonuses. Once the promotion ends, mechs with these specific apperances and bonuses will never be available again.

However the 4 PP mechs all have standard variants available for them. For example the standard Battlemaster might not have the gear tread shoulders but will have the exact same hardpoints.

My prediction of when the PP offer will end? January 2014 when the regular variants of the Battlemaster are offered. Because then people who see other people riding around in their shiny new Battlemasters for several months will be dying to get them in one way shape or form. Even if it means swallowing some pride and buying the Overlord package.

Solid marketing tactic.

My guess is they will offer the package right up until right around the end of Sept so they can milk it for all its worth. I mean think about it, the1-2 week lead up to all those mechs dropping into the game is going to set the forums everywhere buzzing with last minute discussions about builds, comments about the exclusivity, etc. This is going to drive people into a frenzy to grab the PP before it is too late. They will probably double their sales if they wait till the last minute.

Yep, makes sense from a sales pov to do this.

Everyone will be fielding their new shinies and undoutedly some guy (usually on the fence already) will cave and say "Oh me wants shinies too".

The early bird bonus time of 30 days extra premium ends on 25 July.
