I mean come on, the whole mech was designed around deep tube launchers for greater accuracy when firing the SRM's. But instead your vertical rack of SRM's fire and lands in a horizontal line. How about we don't buff SRM damage, but instead make them act like SRM's. I shouldn't fire 8 SRM's dead center at a target only 100m away, ONLY 100M AWAY, and have only 5 SRM'***** it, and only two actually end up directly where i was aiming.

Especially, ESPECIALLY on Centurions, the mech designed to have incredibly accurate missile tubes.

It is Centurion... those missile racks were designed to fire LRMs. :D

Part of the issue is the doors that cover the missile tubes. This causes a half second delay in firing which will really mess up your aim. Therefore if you are using SRMs on the Centurion, make sure to lock open the doors on the tubes. I think it is by defaul the "/" key.

Yeah you need to hit / to open the doors to avoid the delay when opening fire.

Actually, the design specs of the Centurion were never "incredibly accurate missile tubes". Those LRMS (not SRMS) which the mech was designed to incorporate are a supplemental weapon. The Mech is designed specifically around it's autocannon and being a scrapper, hence the deep missile tubes and their armored doors.

Also, an unstabilized bullet is still inaccurate coming out of a long, or a short barrel, so is a an unstabilized (which for whatever reason, SRMs are in MWO, even though rocket stabilization has been largely understood since WWII) missile. Tube depth has little to nothing to do with this.
