I have to admit, i'm getting a little bit tired of all this "this-and-that-weapon-is-OP-and-requires-no-skill"-posts...

- LRM: you don't need to aim -> no skill needed
- SSRM: see LRM
- (ER)PPC: overpowered -> to much pinpoint-damage -> no skill needed, just trigger mouse button 1
- AC20: see PPC
- Gauss Rifle: see PPC/AC20

so my simple question is: what weapons should i use to prevent getting insulted/flamed at the end of a match? because it realy makes me sad when someone shouts at me =(

(sure, i could boat lasers, but then i will get insulted because of boating ML/LL and will be called a b00n or something)

this is realy hard to handle =(

Probably flamer and MG, but if you kill anoyone with them they automatically become OP and no-skill weapons.

I could have bet, that the first answer is something with MGs and Flamers^^

But to be honest... you will not ever kill someone just using this two types of weapons

Besides this, i agree with you

Well, I guess we could also add LBX to that list.

Edit: seems that only weapons (if you can call them weapons) that require skill are:
- TAG,
- NARC,
- AMS (it's OP though),
- BAP (though I'm not sure, as it counters highly-OP ECM)
and the ultimate skill weapon:
Command Console! Behold!

If you can kill someone with NARC and TAG, then Im 100% sure, that on one will complain that you do not have any skill.

Well, TAG weighs a tonne (pretty ******* heavy for a laser pointer btw), so if you drop it on one's head...

all of them. How much would be a better question. Lrms might be hard to use but an LRM 60 awesome with a tag is a joke and takes a little more intelligence and skill than it takes to breath air.

Well, it was an 8-Man Lyran group, and he didn't even TURN AROUND UNTIL HE WAS CHERRY-RED.

But it cost 5,700 MG rounds, as this was before the buff.
