Greetings MechWarriors!

Round Two of the Public Test is starting on Thursday, 18th of July, 2013 and will take place over 2 sessions.

Why?
This test is focused on improvements to framerate for Low and Medium graphics setting players.
Please Note: Gameplay on the public test servers does not reflect the live servers and any changes seen on public test are not always intended for the live servers.

Who?
You! Our Awesome players can provide us feedback on upcoming features by taking part in these test events.

What?
We have made a few changes to the Test Server build since last week, including:
-Fixed Level of Detail issues on the Quickdraw and Highlander 'Mechs.
-Vegetation turns to sprites more readily on Low to High graphics settings.
-Terrain detail texture fades out more readily on Low to Medium graphics settings.
-Light beam slices reduced on Low to High graphics settings.
-Water refraction disabled for Low graphics settings.
-Missile Trails disabled for Low graphics settings.
-Missile Trails reduced for Medium graphics settings.
-Fixed instancing issues for numerous map objects on all graphics settings.
-Capture times have been increased for 12v12.

Where?
On the MWO Public Test Server! Remember the Server is only open while the Test is on.

When?
Thursday, 18th of July, 2013
Test 1 will run from 10am 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Test 2 will run from 4pm to 6pm.
(Times are set for Pacific Daylight Zone [UTC-7])

How?
You can access it by downloading the Test Server client by clicking here.
Once it is installed and the test begins: Login as you would normally to MWO!
After testing, please respond to the correct Morning and/or Afternoon Polls.
To coordinate a 12-man group and make some new friends, post here.

Nota Bene!
Remember that there is no guarantee that any of the changes seen in this test will be approved for the live version in the future.
