I abandoned my MWO email address over a year ago now and this is the only thing that still uses it, I would really like to delete the entire email account but MWO is the only thing I can't change the address on which is preventing me from doing so.

Please can we have a way to change our email address? I have contacted support numerous times but they can not even change it manually for me which is a bit bizzare.

Thanks,
para

seriously fix this.

my acct that i used to sign up gets seriously compromised every other month or so. and i have since abandoned it for a private email. this is the only game i have that still requires me to use that old acct email. which isnt very good for me. as they could then take this acct easily as well.

This one is under review / on the development radar.
It is, unfortunately, not as simple a fix as many players might hope.

Is this some sort of cruel joke? This has to be the most basic database design knowledge. Like databases 101. Every 18 y/o comp sci student can set you up with a database with unique users but changeable email addresses.

Man you guys are doing this so people don't sell accounts. And lying about it. ERMAGEHRD it's hard!

Sorry I apologize for my unsavory tone, thanks for your response. I'm just irritated that I can't do this even though it seems like the most basic functionality.
I do database work for a living myself and still can't fathom how the initial design was done without this as a day 1 function.

Wow, a truly gracious post by Niko in the face of your nasty comments.... I am surprised he would even bother to answer you considering that insulting forum signature you got there.

Could we get an estimate on when we will be able to do this? I can't even follow forum topics because they go to the same email address that I never use. I also have to send support requests from it rather than my main/actual email address which is another slight frustration.

Would it not have been better to have usernames as the login instead of the email address?
