I am just getting a "Please Wait" after pressing "Play". I am all patched up and ran the test client as Administrator, just in case, but its not going anywhere.

Stability seems fine, I can't say for the lower settings as my computer was built with the sole purpose of high end gaming. Max settings all the way baby!!!

So if you're interested in max setting stability then i can say everything seemed great! Superb even!!

Side note if you care - PPCs seem to still be the preferred choice on most mechs. If their projectile speed was slowed they would become more difficult to land hits with at extreme ranges or hitting fast moving mechs which would leave them back where they were intended to be, a Big hard hitting weapon for big targets. Raising the heat on ppc's just isn't quite the move they need. They need a difficulty to use change, not a heat change.

Okay filled out the poll (still having problems with hit detection), here's some random stuff:

What I like:
+ Black outline/background on minimap icons

What I don't like:
- The darker orange of the HUD (at least the more yellowish crosshair was better visable)
- Smaller Gauss projectiles

Restarting the Test Patcher have any effect?

Nope, restarted it at least 6 times, with and without Administrator, and after having run the regular client & quit that (that ran fine). I even went looking in Task Manager to see if there was an orphan process screwing me up. I am going to try a reboot.

Okay... at least patching took a long time (longer than any live patch yet). Will start testing now (unless I screwed up timezones and the test isn't right now  )

There is a crazy bug now with camera looking too far. If you hold left CTRL and mouse look you can do a 360 view .. look down your own neck inside your body. Also I ran into the same weird camera behavior while trying to aim left/right faster than my torso can go and ending up with some weird camera behavior.

There seems to be an issue with some SRM launchers.

In the Heavy Metal (the mech I am testing in 12's today) the torso mounted weapons seem to shoot only 1 at a time. I have an SRM 6 and 4, with the 6 in the torso and the 4 in the side pod. The SRM4 fires fine, all missiles go out at once, but the SRM6 fires one at a time, like a MG despite having all the tubes it needs.

I have been near other mechs and heard the same thing happening too.

There is currently an issue in this PT with the second missile slot of the highlanders (Tested in a 733C) in the Left torso. my second salvo of SRMS are comming out in a Single line like it was a narc tube(I have 2 SRM6 in the left torso) Its fine in the current live build. I also tested it in the Training grounds same They are all comming out in a straight line like it coming out of one tube. The left arm slot is fine for fireing all the SRM6.

No luck after reboot, same thing.
W7 Pro, 64-bit, SP1. AMD FX 8120 (8-core) proc, 16 gigs of DDR3 RAM, SSD, DX11 if it matters. Graphics is AMD Radeon HD 6700 series, I forget exactly which model. Let me know if you want any other info.

framerate drop from last week, hit detection also totally broken this time
That is to say last week was 5ish fps lower than live (highest settings) this week went 10-20 fps lower and hit detection was barely above 50%, last week's build was far better.

The hit detection is terrible. Our two Ravens can't kill a Spider, because it takes no damage. It seems, that even the Streaks didn't do any damage

can't confirm for STK-3F with 4x SRM6 (doesnt matter if doors open or closed) and HBK-4SP with 2x SRM4-Artemis

Please ensure if you're wanting better FPS that you have switched your settings to Low or Medium, this is where most of the optimizations made for this test build have been made. The default for a fresh install is high settings.

I like the 12 vs 12 drops. Their is a lot less distractions and more concentrating on the fight. No side bars or chats going on other than tactical information in the chat. It could be due to more information having to take in with multiple battles occuring on the map.

It's a little weird the more people in the match the more people behave. Hooray for peer pressure. Everyone is polite just like going on a first date. Let's hope the romance period lasts a long time.

I found myself commanding some troop movements through chat with ease without having to take command through the battlemap. I think the 12 man drops are going to be a big hit. kudos

My graphics are all grainy looking and I almost can't distingish mechs from the background at more than 300m, just kind of looks like a big blob. This is at the highest video setting.

Non-test version is clear as bell and crisp.

If we have to deal with crappy grainy graphics like this, please don't implement 12 vs 12 as it will probably make me quit the game....NO JOKE, it is that bad.

Edit and Add: Ran into hit detection issues as well. Point blank on a Hunchback aimming at his CT needed me taking out his arm.

Also Had some to the weird camera angle stuff in a normal match. Was just trying to torso twist around and next thing I knew I was looking kind of backward through my mech.

So my camera decided to glitch out hardcore in my last game, I was just moving my mouse to look around to find an enemy mech and the next thing I know I'm looking out through the back of my mech and I can see the body of my pilot, it then became extremely hard to move the camera where I wanted it to go and ended up staring at my side window for the rest of the game. I was not holding the ctrl button and pressing it/holding it didn't help anything.

I thought 'low' graphics were supposed to be getting a buff on this test?

My FPS is now dreadful, pretty much 9 or 10 FPS at start and end screens, never mind what goes on during the game which of course can ruin it more. For comparison, I get around 22-24 consistently now on the current main release version.
