Have you ever been approaching a hill or mountain that you fully intend on using your JJ's to traverse, only to have your leg clip a rock, halve your movement speed, and then make your JJ's come up short, or leave you jumping straight up and down?

Quite annoying, and I think it makes JJ's more difficult to traverse terrain they were intended to.

My suggestions would be that when you are on a mountain side that has reduced your movement, when you activate your JJ's it uses the movement speed of what your throttle is set to instead of you current KPH.

I think this would make them much more enjoyable and more useful overall, and haven't been able to think of a situation where it could be game breaking.

Thoughts?

But this is crazy talk! It would actually let you jump up cliffs then.
You can't use Jumpjets for jumping.

Jump Jets should have a forward thrust vector equal to your throttle setting (the jet vents appear to have vectoring plates, so why aren't they vectoring?)

jumpjets should let you JUMP from level to level. instead, i can take 1 OR 5 jumpjets, and either way 80% of the time right before i hit a wall/mountain i jump and strafe up it.

imagine the damage this would do to a mech, grinding yur mech along a mountain.

but, its the most efficient way to get around because jets dont give enough hieght or forward momentum.
