OK, so just o toss this disclaimer out here, this is NOT a Battletech/Mechwarrior Mech.

It is, an unabashed {Noble MechWarrior} Anime Mecha, the likes that would fit in with Macross, Neon Genesis Evangelion, or the live action Pacific Rim. Silly slender, tiny joints and largely pointless weapons in a giant stompy.

Why?

Same reason Del Toro gave us Pacific Rim (which I loved). It's fun. So there. :P

and for fun and good measure, I will add one of i's counterparts in the same game universe:

Love it. :P It's not even fair to criticize anything about it. The only things I could think to say are that the right leg looks a teeny bit thin, and while the blades look great, I think maybe another style would be more fitting. More needle-like, tapering to a point. But like I said, that's not even fair. Looks great. The Icarus looks like an RGM-89 Jegan. Which in turn looks like all the other RGM series mobile suits. Which are all cool. XD

I would like to say that I particularly like the chest plate on your mech.

Never heard of this before. It does look similar, though. Gundam the series is obviously older, but between the mechs idk.

EDIT: Oh, ****. I didn't see you added the colored version. AWESOME.

Yeah, I believe Gundam predates PatLabor, but IMO, PatLabor is WAAAAAAAAY better, especially the movies. One of my favorite Animes.

I remember Macross as a kid, thinking dang these robots are impractical. So stylized, more like a Concept Car at an auto show than a real battle machine. Now the Urbanmech, thats more towards what we'd see in the not too distant future.

It looks like the cooler, sunglasses wearing cousin of the Exterminator who always feels the need to show off with his sports car.

Bishop's designs tend to have that effect. Except they're mechs. They don't need no damn car.

Clearly, the feet on the Icarus are not large enough, especially when compared to its head.
