3 times today i used my back to shield fire but my internals were damaged by the lasers and i still had external armor it was mlas from a spider shouldn't have killed me?

Was your front stripped of armor when this happened?

Or did you receive damage through Armor to Internals?

Just wait until you have armor all the way around and you lose (2) weapons on your Mech.

Doesn't happen often, must be a glitch..

The only EXCUSE I could say they could come up with is "shape charge" & "Spalling"...

But since that hasn't been mentioned, I probably shouldn't have given them any ideas for an excuse.

Overheating now causes internal damage the second you do it, this can kill components and is more severe the hotter you go over.

SOMETIMES, rarely, you can overheat without the server actually realising it and shutting you down (desynchronization between you and server) however it's rare for most players, which might lead to seeing this but not seeing yourself as overheated.

Yeah you over heat you will take internal damage - even if no body has actually shot you.

Somebody mentioned that there is a small chance that a shot can damage internals even if you still have armour. Don't know if this is true anymore.
I only remember that one time, I got shot by 6+ Machine guns and got critical damage from it, although I still got armour on all sides.
