If you can't play with these nerfs to these broken weapons, well sell your cheesy configs, and start playing a real high-skill brawler like a ppc/guass misery or heavy metal. Maybe in half an hour you'll be good like us top elo players.
Thank god we got heatscale. It was the breath of fresh air Mechwarrior Online needed. I'm feeling a lot more confident about the future prospects of this game now. I'm probably going to go Overlord on Phoenix now, because a great game, which comes once in a lifetime, is worth the money.
You can tell the devs listen really closely to us beta testers. I know you stupid noobs out there never beta tested anything before, but a lot of us can tell you that this entire experience has been ridiculously seamless. They probably could have released MWO months ago, but are being extra conservative about it.
Seriously though, I want to thank the devs for adding this new heatscale concept to the Battletech universe. It's amazing the table top, MechWarrior 1, MechWarrior 2, MechWarrior 3, MechWarrior 4, and those Mech Commander games, didn't think of it. Mechwarrior could have been so much better all this time, but nobody was smart enough to invent it.
But sersiously, by next patch, we all expect boating limits to be added to weapons like flamers and machine guns; all the stuff trolls are still abusing. I'm sure it was just an oversight. Awesome job with everything, actually.
Anyway, I'm out. Catch you on Volcano!
