In fact, so do machine guns! I'm tired of Jaegermechs boating them. In fact every weapon needs to be penalized under heatscale! It's unfair otherwise. Thank god they did something about those broken spam large pulse laser guys who were ruining the game. I was also really getting tired of those guys boating srm 2s.

If you can't play with these nerfs to these broken weapons, well sell your cheesy configs, and start playing a real high-skill brawler like a ppc/guass misery or heavy metal. Maybe in half an hour you'll be good like us top elo players.

Thank god we got heatscale. It was the breath of fresh air Mechwarrior Online needed. I'm feeling a lot more confident about the future prospects of this game now. I'm probably going to go Overlord on Phoenix now, because a great game, which comes once in a lifetime, is worth the money.

You can tell the devs listen really closely to us beta testers. I know you stupid noobs out there never beta tested anything before, but a lot of us can tell you that this entire experience has been ridiculously seamless. They probably could have released MWO months ago, but are being extra conservative about it.

Seriously though, I want to thank the devs for adding this new heatscale concept to the Battletech universe. It's amazing the table top, MechWarrior 1, MechWarrior 2, MechWarrior 3, MechWarrior 4, and those Mech Commander games, didn't think of it. Mechwarrior could have been so much better all this time, but nobody was smart enough to invent it.

But sersiously, by next patch, we all expect boating limits to be added to weapons like flamers and machine guns; all the stuff trolls are still abusing. I'm sure it was just an oversight. Awesome job with everything, actually.

Anyway, I'm out. Catch you on Volcano!

We need a heat scale for Narc Beacons and TAG lasers.

Aw hell, let's add a heat scale for heat sinks and ammo, too.

Agreed! Machine guns should have a multiplier of at least 30 if boated. 30 per machine gun!

Wait what? Machine guns normal heat is zero so 30 times that still is zero? Damn.

That would really screw over my 9 TAG Hunchback, but probably help the metagame. Every top-level 8-man premade has at least one of them. So yeah, you're right, TAG needs a nerf. The multiplier should start at 1 because it's a broken weapon to begin with.

Dude, those SRM2's are so over powered right now. I mean, they only move off target by what, 10 degrees by 250m? With that kind of accuracy i only need 600 rounds to break the CT of a jager. Thank you heatscale, i'm tired of seeing mechs designed to boat missiles actually boating missiles, and i'm tired of seeing those energy boating mechs you released boating energy weapons.

PGI: so brave.

Not my precious ammo! You have any clue how much ammo I got on my A1? That'll kill me!

This...they already have an exponential growth the more you fire and the longer you fire them. Op is an *****. But that pretty much goes without question.

I get that this is written in /sarcasm, I'm just not sure if OP is mad about LPL scale or scale in general

The LPL doesn't have a scale (yet?).

It'll be addressed in the next patch, keep the faith.
