Then you can have a game mode called kick the can.....1 person gets an atlas the all the rest get the urbanmechs.

Urbie a good friend, but could be the worst enemy of Atlas since atlas is so slow. Urbie can close down on him to a distance where Atlas cannot properly aim him, and start pummelling ac20 shots into him.

It is cute and kicka**. Also, the more the merrier I say. Besides, won't there eventually be a ton of mechs to choose from? I mean, I would plan to have nearly, if not, all of them by the end.

+1 for urban mech from the perspective of giving new pilots a solid low-cost chassis.

+1 for the Urbanmech. If I was a Militia Leader and I needed cheap yet effective mech, the Urbanmech would of been my top choice. Plus I would love to see more mechs on the game!

Put my name on this list. We need as wide an array of mechs to choose from as possible. And the Urbie is a nice way to introduce youself into the game after using trial mechs.

If drops were based on battle value or costs then there's a good chance they might begin to look useful. Other than that, I just like the idea of the walking rubbish bin being in the game

Urbies are pretty common in universe. They're also ridiculously cheap. Garrisons and militias love them because they pack a punch and are very inexpensive.

If MW:O is true to the universe, you will love the Urbanmech too, because it will be one of the first mechs you can buy that can slug it out with mediums and maybe even beat a few of them.

"Hurrdurr I won't drive it cause it's silly looking and I'd look silly by proxy." Yeah, we play mech games to drive the coolest mechs cause that makes us feel cooler. Yep.
I'm a huge fan of the urbanmech. It was specifically designed to mount heavy weapons in a cheap well armored package.

Newbies gush about MadCats and Fafnirs. Old schoolers have a big soft spot for the trashcan mech.

Yeah, the Hunchback was designed for the same role. It's also 3,457,875 C-Bills. An Urbie is only 1,470,125 C-Bills. So you could buy two Urbies for the price of one Hunchback with money to spare. In MW:O you're a merc, so you're thinking with your pocket book.

---Buck.

Cheap? Good mech for a quick transition from trials to actually owning one? :P

Sign me up for the urban mech. The game needs ugly cheap mechs too. There just plain practical.
