OPERATION INCEPTION Question

OPERATION INCEPTION can be bought in June, and used in July. We get in-game credits and stuff.
Neat.
However, all this is still CLOSED Beta. Open Beta won't happen until later.
Also, every game, like ever, always has a character wipe in between closed and open betas.
So...
When open beta arrives, will we be given a refresh of our in-game $40/$80 money, and mech (for Elite packs)?
It is either that, or no wipe between closed and open beta, and I can't see there being no wipe with all the in-game changes that happens of the course of betas and things.
From the tone of the devs, I'm sure the answer to my question will be 100% resonable, but I still need that answer.
Unfortunately, since this deals with real-life money (Do I save up the money now, or wait to pay normally when open beta starts?), I really need an answer from a staff member or even a dev. The user base here is cool, but users just don't know what devs/staff knows, and I need a real answer before I use my real money.
Thanx.

Its one of the major perks of launching a F2P game. No other game that has a sub can launch like this.

But I don't know exactly what is planned since no one person that I know of has speficly come out and said anything. It just seems to be a strange idea that we would have premium accounts and such during a open beta period.

Yeah I started reading some of the Dev posts and from what I can gather it will be beta (would have to be closed beta or else it wouldn't be early access) and there will be no further data wiping after July 17. Personally I will probably be saving any paid-for in game currency until after release, but they'll already have my money so they won't mind. ;-)

Also that operation inception provides 'Early Access'
From past experience Early access is just a few days.
So my guess is that Open beta will start the 20th of July.

not really.
the jenner can mount an srm or an lrm, and has hard points for 4 med lasers or 2 large ect.
the hunchback comes in variants to mount med lasers in the arms and ac 20 or 6 med laser pod in torso, you could swap the lasers for 2 ppcs if you worked at it.
the catapult can be a missile boat with lrms srms or theres a k2 version with energy hard points instead of missiles.
the atlas is a beast, it can mount a large gun(ac 20 lbx 10 uac 5 Gauss rifle) med or large lasers in its arms, maybe even ppcs if theres room, lrms, srms.
ill be picking the atlas because i like being the mobile fortress over the nimble assassin or the speedy scout. catapult would be my second option since it can bring alot of fire support and is mobile.
ps, you dont have to pick your inception mech first thing, you can try out the 4 chasis regular versions, and then pick the inception one you liked best.

Gears of War 3 had a closed beta roughly 2-3 months before it was realeased. That worked out fine. It just sort of depends on how well the developers balanced the game before beta.

That's a good point; let's hope that's entirely what they mean. However- closed beta or not, I want to see for myself what they've done.
