Rather interesting news that Atari held a fire-sale of IP's they held, two main IP's of Master of Orion and Total Annihilation both going to Wargaming.net.

I'm rather dissappointed that Uber ent didn't get their hands on the TA ip. Apart from Chris Taylor all the important TA staff are chilling at Uber cringing they didn't get their hands on their beloved IP. But it was sweet to see that Uber tried to get it, if only people had pledged more towards PA they might have scored TA.

Who knows, wargaming.net might use this to crank out an MMORTS that won't smell of fail like end of nations.

We can only hope.

Stardock got ahold of the Star Control IP though, cool, I can see them doing cool things with that.

I hope they do something good with the TA IP.I still have a copy of TA and CC working I still use TA-Mutation with 10+ mods and 50+ maps. I even have some mods we made with actual BT-TT-MechWarrior mechs in them. I made 4 mods with mechs and 10 maps for TA and still have all my mod tools. Posted Image
