Twas the night before Christmas and all through the hanger,
Not a mech was stirring, not even Ol' banger.
His wires and cables were strung without care,
plates and parts lay both here and there.
A bang and a crash as the pilot found something broken,
A grunt and a groan and surely some curses were spoken.
Ol' Banger had taken a chance side torso hit,
And his job to make sure the mech was fit.
For the next day on the field he would need to battle,
The wicked don't rest as old like to prattle.
For not all of us rest easy when Santa comes calling,
Not all of us home as the snow begins falling.
The enemy wont rest and neither can we,
No night of rest for Ol' Banger and me.
Happy holidays everyone! And a moment of thought for our tireless representative on other shores who cannot be home for the holiday's.
