'Sarah's Mech' has been added as a custom variant on the Battletech wiki.

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Jenner

JR7-D(S) Sarah's Mech - A Jenner customized by Mechwarrior Sarah Parries, this upgraded Jenner-D replaced the standard SRM launchers with paired SSRM-2 packages, upgraded the armor to Ferro Fibrous, the engine to a 300XL, and the Chassis to Endo Steel. Double heatsinks allow it free use of 4 Medium Lasers, 2 in each arm, and a Beagle Active Probe prevents enemies from escaping detection. It is instantly recognizable due to the colorful paint job, which includes rainbows, teddy bears, and a unicorn. This mech was created for MechWarrior Online in memory of Sarah Perries, a 5 year old who passed away from brain cancer in mid 2013, based on her preferred loadout. This mech could only be purchased with actual money, rather than in-game currency, and all proceeds were donated to cancer research.[

Oh God, I'm crying.

Sarah's Jenner should find itself right at home here.

I have not written in the forum, nor played the game in nearly a year I think, but I had to log in to say thanks guys for the initiative, it is very noble of you and of my fellow mechwarriors. Rock on!

So, somebody help me come up with a way to explain to my mom that PGI isn't going to steal her debit card and rip her off for loads of money just because it's not hard cash or in person.

I'm up to $410 US* spent on this game, no oddball stuff showing up on my statements.
*$120 Founder's, 2x $100 MC injections, $80 Phoenix Package, $10 for Sarah.

I hope PGI gives a grand total when all is said and done. Sure would like to see the MWO community in it's finest hour(s). :)

I spend 10 bucks on a Mech i will probably never drive...but it was for a good reason and works with PayPal.
Imho the Page about the Sarah Action is very well done from the design and the message and utilization.

I am very glad that PGI stepped up and delivered after the communities enormous reaction on the initial post. I feel like crying and smiling at the same time now.

I don't mean to sound negative or a party pooper but bear in mind the speed at which the donations come in will gradually slow down as this is something most people like myself wanted to jump straight in to.

I think the response so far has been outstanding and if someone had told me it would reach almost $50k I would have said no. However I didn't take into account the generous and caring nature of everyone here.

Is there any chance IGP/PGI will be able to top up or match whatever we've donated? I don't mean to put pressure on a smaller publisher/developer when your own capital might be especially tight but anything you can give as a company on top of what we've provided would be a lovely finishing touch to this amazing cause.

I would guess there will be a sizable bump in donations on the 1st or shortly thereafter. Some will need to wait to get paid.

yeah. I believe that to be the case. I would hate to think that either our player base really was that small, or there were that many heartless scurvy dogs in our community that couldn't be convinced to donate.

Chances are, I will never even use my Jenner-D(S). Doesn't matter, every time I see it in my mechlab it'll give me a sad little grin and some dust in my eye, before manning up, and going out to GET 'EM GOOD!

They've already taken the time and resources to create the mech and set up the charity donation as well as make the video and the promotions so I think they've done their part. It's not like they didn't put any effort into this.

About goals on how much would be nice to reach, I don't know if it is possible, but I am hoping we can match the Breast Cancer charity drive done by the Fighting Game Community for EVO2013 or at least close to it!

I'll be getting my Sarah's Jenner on the 8th and I'll try to get a second one on my other account if my budget allows. :)

I just bought the Phoenix Package and now tried to buy Sarah's Mech but it gives me a timeout error when I try to change the payment style.

I hate Jenners....Purchased for the cause.

Now I can pilot it with no weapons and no armor, just to watch it die horribly fast!!!!!

and because it fights cancer.
