Hey Devs or whoever is running the charity...I would by another in Sarah's honor if chance was there. As a cancer survivor this a good cause to support. Looking at this topic I am sure I am not alone.

I hope that you would consider continuing/reopening this or doing another mech.

The Sarah's Jenner initiative brought me back to the inner sphere. I was there years ago with the table top game and MW 3 and 4 but then life/kids/career got in the way. My wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June and one night in August when I was reading some posts on a cancer bulletin board I saw the story about how Mechwarriors raised so much money for cancer research in honor of this little girl. That story brought me back to MW. (although just too late to buy the Mech)

What this community did was incredible and I would love to see it continue even in a small way and be a part of future efforts.

I'd like one as well... maybe do another round for those of us who missed it the 1st time? I bet there would be quite a few takers.

I think they should do periodic specialized mechs with all proceeds going to benefit cancer victims. Actually it would be nice if we were able to choose a few different charities and and have the proceeds go there. There are plenty of worthy causes and victims in this world that could use the help and I don't see why not. Do one every quarter

You don't want to donate to a good cause, but wish to purchase a robot.

Rather brash thing to say. Honestly, what's the difference? The money goes to the right cause, the motives are irrelevant.

There were some self-righteous people on the forums decrying the Sarah's Mech charity drive as... I dunno, wrong or something because people were willing to pay for a virtual mech skin but not donate directly to a charity. Apparently they linger here still. Just ignore them. Worked well enough during the drive.

I have to admit, I'm still touched by how this worked out. I can't bring myself to modify the paint job, it's just so precious. Also the whole 'get 'em good!' thing makes me choke up a bit.

This was a Good Thing.

Yeah, the Sarah's mech initiative was incredible. I'm really proud of PGI and the community for making it happen.

I feel sorry for them, who don't know how to save the world. They think it's better to do nothing...

BTW, that's mine and I still love it.

As a father of 2 little ones, I cannot imagine going through what Sarah's family has. Thoughts go out to them, and especially Jon a fellow Mechwarrior.

Good excuse to break out the Sarah's Jenner.

Cheers.

I would so much love to have a JR-D(S).
I really would.

PLEASE, PGI, bring it back on sale, especially for newer players.
I'd buy it instantly and the incomes could be donated as earlier.

Happy Birthday and R.I.P. comrade Sarah.

While I have made many donations and this is no exception, I am a fellow jenner pilot and that is really all I want to play. However I was on hiatus during this drive and I really do shoot myself in the butt for taking my break while this was happening. To the family on the anniversary of their daughters birth....

I´m also a Father of two Kids. The Second one arrived five days ago, and i can´t even imagine how my life would be without one of them. If PGI would do a new charity event, i would donate again, and wouldn´t need such an cause like Sarahs again.......
But to prevent this for sure!

That would be cool in the future. Every year during Sarah's birthday week, but the Jenner back on sale (only that week) and again make the donation to the Cancer Society.

The robot is to honor the player.
