I like the classic load-out for the mech, so this is just a direct upgrade of the mech without changing its loadout, But it still looks nasty, especially considering how much it will be able to fire those weapons with all those heatsinks

Compare-able canon variants:
BLR-6X - (425 XXL Engine, 16 DHS, 15 Tons Armor), 1 ER PPC, 1 Heavy PPC, SSRM6, 2 ER Medium Lasers
BLR-10S - (255 STD Engine, 20 DHS, 16.5 Tons Armor), 1 ER PPC, 6 ER Medium Lasers, 1 ER Small Laser, 1 SSRM4, 1 GECM, 2 B-Pods
A legit build by canon standards. I dub thee the BLR-6X Prototype.

with the XL but a slightly different loadout: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...a68cfe3f2b87df4

Sounds like a personal problem. Machine Guns are quite good in large quantities on a very fast mech. I just wish the PIrahna was in the game because your opinion of Machine Guns would completely change if there was a max speed light mech with the DPS of an Atlas and 0 heat generation.

Also 6 torso mounted medium lasers. I murder assault mechs that think they know how to brawl with the 4 torso mounted medium lasers on my Cat. It will be insane.
I'll be able to kill most things in 2 or 3 volleys.

Personally id play it more like a Misery and go with Gauss in the arm. Or maybe dual AC/5s. Then you can do some solid damage without having to worry about heat.

It seems to me that PGI is now picking mechs that can hurry along, probably because of the size of the maps they are introducing. With the Battlemaster another 64kph mech with 85 tons, we also have fan favorites Zeus (80 tons) and Banshee (95 tons) that can skimper at 65kph.

I have 20 double heatsink, that disipates a lot of heat , and I dont need to alpha on people all day either, besides, its as fast as the base dragon at over 80km/h. those 6 medium lasers will be able to fire really fast, and thats 60 points of damage there. The ERPPC is there more so i can at least tap somone at long range. And standard engines are over-rate anything. Plus i wanted to have it feel like a battlemaster.
