Ok i know i know about 10000 threads about this topic and alot of ideas out there for fixs. some good some bad.
everyone bitching about weapons and sinks and heats etc. what about this for a idea and maybe if its feasible by all means expand on it if you like the idea.
Weapon tier levels
like in the pilot lab type levels
take ErPpc\PPC
take these weapons and make Tier levels out of them that increase performance as you gain levels in using them.
say you are new just bought your 1st mech and are upgrading it.
You bought 2 ErPpc for your mech but they are level 1.
Each Firing of weapon is say 20 heat\8 Damage 6 second delay between shots
pretty bad scenario i know but its a example.
You would have to grind out new exp in weapon category's to advance to the next level say
level 2 is damage 9 15 heat 5 sec delay etc
so forth and so in the grind.
level 3 would be where it was before patch.
now this would be new so no points you had before said new system would count for your levels.
the exp would be a major grind to advance,
exp like 10000 level 1, 20000 level 2/ 30000 level 3 of gxp or what not.
and the kicker is to advance in the ppc line you have to use them to get exp.
can do the same with ballistics etc
now this is just a idea and yes it proposes a major grind to get to level 3 and prob alot will say your Freaking high i know , but its a idea
once you reach level 3 you have earned the right to run all the damn cheese ya want.
add on make it better, throw out ideas etc

all this idea would do is make mew players have even less chance of ever doing anything, and letting every experienced player beat them down even harder. It would do nothing for game balance however.
