1. No hit registration even up close and personal.
2. Heat vision is just another bad monochrome night vision. Aren't you suppose to see the target as glowing Red to Yellow. The warmer your Mech becomes (Hits and reactor overload) the more red you should glow.
3. Bad target registration on the HUD, I can see the enemy mech, I am hitting the enemy mech, but according to the HUD there is nobody there. Very frustration if want to use weapons using target lock and if they are raining the whole collection of missiles down on you head....
4. Does the mech have any usable radar? Any close proximity threat detection? Come on guys even todays jets have those stuff! Chaff Flares etc...
5. Light mech to heavy mech balance doesn't feel right. Speed and agility vs Brute strength and firepower. The big guys alway get slaughtered by the lightweights.
6. By the way Reactors that explode should have a blast radius and head-butting (running into a mech) the enemy should also do damage or at the least stun the other.

1. Used to happen all the time with lights pre HSR which has been implemented over the past 6 month period. USed to be tons of complaints of "lag shield on lights". It went away largely with the laser and ballistic implementation of HSR from February through may. Reappeared in June with the HSR patch for missiles.

2. Heat vision used to be just that and it was basically god vision mode. The new version is far more balanced as most people used to run thermal 100% of the time.

3. I have no idea what you are talking about. I assume the enemy is under ECM cover, if so I suggest you read up on the many counters to this.

4. This was an early design decision to make scouts and manual target identification part of the game. Of course we could design a game in which satellites target the enemies and we just nuke them from orbit...I am not sure that seems fun. For close proximity threat detection I point you to the vastly overpowered seismic sensor which is being nerfed into what probably amounts to an appropriate radius.

5. I have no idea what level of ELO you are playing at where the lightweights are slaughtering assaults...Certainly not in 8 mans.

6. Reactor explosion would be cool, but would push the game even more towards long range sniping and away from brawling and I think that is probably why it is avoided. We used to have collisions and the ability to knock other mechs down. The devs took it out saying that it wasn't up their standards....which begs the question why they don't remove tons of things from the game.
