Couple missing details still

The founder benefits don't really mean as much if we don't really know their value compared to the free content?
If these questions have been answered elsewhere my apologies!

Would be nice to see some clarification.

Kidding aside it is a good point for those who are on the fence. Hopefully we will see something soon!
Cheers.

You dont have to buy the pack on the 19th, and you could wait until the 17th of July, or maybe even later then that... But you know at least that the majority of the game will be made known on the 17th of July, and you can probably make an informed decision at that time.
P.S. I don't think MWO will have any premium monthly pay accounts. I think the founder's packs are just what they are, for founders.

this. I'll be treating my founder's purchase somewhat as a leap of faith but hopefully after being able to make a more informed decision as time goes on. Hell I've blown cash on Rebellion's latest sniper elite when it came out and...yeah. buyer beware. I would be more than willing to bet the larger founder's price that you'll get a good deal for your cash here as opposed to other products.

If you read in the description of the founders pack, it says that you get two months of premium account, the premium account being simply increased earning and xp

Yes. But it says nothing about a subscription. All I am saying is that I bet there will be no monthly premium pay accounts. This is a Founder only deal.

Yes, there are going to be monthly premium pay accounts. On the founder's deal it says with all the letters "2 months of premium account benefits".
Just like WoT. You pay $14,99 and get XP + credits boost for 30 days. Seems like most F2P games now offer a deal like this. They are calling this model "freemium".

You are comparing the word "premium" used in description of the Founder's package with WoT. They are not the same word.
No mention from PGI has yet to me made (to my knowledge) that PGI will offer a monthly payment subscription plan for MWO, and I am betting they wont.
Premium does not mean subscription.

On this model it is basically the same thing. You pay the same amount of money that you would for a P2P game, and you get a set of features for 30 days.
I understand. But I do not believe it will be the case with MWO. Until PGI says something different, I don't believe they will be offering a monthly payment package. All I am saying is that the founder's package says nothing about that.
You feel they will offer a monthly payment plan because you expect it. I do not. That is the difference between you and I. Your expectation is based on the use of the word premium If I understand you correctly. But again, it clearly says nothing about monthly subscriptions...

"Premium Account" - In WoT, this gets you the ability to have larger pre-made groups for simple pick-up battles, gain money and XP faster, and have a prettier looking tank garage. Its costs vary depending on how long you want to get it for - but it is roughly equal to a premium (non F2P) MMO if you want to purchase a month at a time. For folks playing a lot, and with the money, this will make sense since you can gain 'levels' and more mechs faster.
"Founders Mech" - In WoT, there are some tanks that can be purchased. They are no better - and sometimes actually worse - than equal tanks earned through gameplay, so they are not in any way "pay to win". However, they do get more credits per battle... which is the same description that has been given for the founders mechs in MWO.

Nah, man. The writing is on the wall.
If it was a founders only thing they'd say "Your account will have premium status, and we'll give you an XP and C-bills bonus for the first two months!"
What is says is, "Two-month premium account to MechWarrior Online at launch: Earn XP & C-Bills faster."
Specifically saying that you have 2 months of a premium account means that premium accounts are something they plan to sell in 30 day batches. The devs have specifically said that xp/c-bills boosters are one of the things they're going to sell, so the "premium account" is just what they decided to call it.

You feel they will offer a monthly payment plan because you expect it. I do not. That is the difference and it has NOTHING to do with the wording in the Operation Inception message or the use of the word premium in the description of the two founder accounts.

Not sure about what you are or aren't expecting, since you are arguing about semantics and that is somewhat pointless. But still, it says right there "Two-month premium account".
A "two-month premium account" is a "two-month premium account". There's no wordplay there. It is an account, with premium status, for two months. The other package has an account with premium status for one month. That means that you will be able to pay a given amount of money to get "premium status" for a period of time.
