[Vasces Diablo]

I think we all agree that the art and mech models produced so far for MWO have been great (it's the best a Cataphract has ever looked). But there are also some ugly mechs out there.

Are there any mechs that not even MWO could make look good?

I'll start off my saying the Hoplite.

I dislike the MWO dragon design. To me, the MW:merc dragon design is still the best.

Prior to the Cataphract coming out I would have thoguht there were tons out there that where beyond help. But with what they did for the Cataphract and the Stalker. I am not sure anything is beyond help.....but I agree with McDuff that anything with OST is probably in trouble

There is literally nothing to work with and still be recognizable as Yeoman. You would have to completely redesign it. It should be an Unseen.

As long as they do the job they were designed for, no problem... there were a number that failed that test though....

The urban mech, i can't say I've ever seen one look to good. And granted the flea hasn't either, I like it for it's simplicity.

Actually lots of mechs. If I'm being painfully honest, there are a lot of crappy designs in BT. There are also a lot of excellent designs. But many of them just scream "quantity over quality".

But Urban mechs in any form are just adorable. If they sold a plushie urbanmech I'd by it in an instant.

Honestly some of the Draconis Combine samurai looking mechs aren't bad. And for this to be Gundam the swords would have to be made out of lasers.

But on the subject... honestly... off the top of my head I can't think of anything that is too ugly that the MWO couldn't help. If they can make the Stalker look good and remove those funny knees that bent both ways they can do anything.
