Of course Alex, you make a great job most of the time, but please, the Wolverine is an icon, so dont let him look like the smaller brother of the Battlemaster...

An icon you say? Do you really want this to run around you in the future?

I'm hoping for Wolverine-7H deal with the laser where it's mounted directly above the head... Hunchback/Awesome taken a step further.... just imagine equipping a flamer in that spot. ;)

Sorry, but the 80s are over. You're going to have to learn to accept change.

No. The design i love since over 20 years is this:

The Antenna and the head mounted medium laser are a must have for the wolverine ;)

I have to admit, silly though it might be, the "ball turret" is pretty distinctive. I reckon it will have to appear in the final version. That, the "wing-like" shoulder pads and the giant gun-arm seem pretty fixed.

The real question is if Alex will feel obligated to keep the ... lunch box?

the lunch box in the old art was a mag reload for the ac5...so, i doubt it

you know, unless you want a ton of ammo carried externally that can be detonated by a stray shot.

Use a Guass and you've got yourself a 56 tons to work with. ;)

Hey Alex since you seem to be enjoying this thread. When did you start drawing and what was it?

Cause let's face it, even your revolver Wolverine is something better than I could draw given a week to do it >.>

i been drawing as far back as i remember, which would put the start date at about 3 or 4 years old

i think i remember drawing airplanes and tanks shooting at each other and stuff exploding. so at least in that regard, not much has changed

It would be interesting Devs, if you could program a way for certain weapons like the Wolverine's HD mounted laser to be put on a swivel and have an arc of fire in front of the Mech. It might be possible if its tied to the arm crosshair or something. Just a thought.

That way you can put a ball turret laser in that spot ;) Would that not be super cool?

Otherwise I had the following amazing idea:

For any Wolverine variant that doesn't have anything filled in the CT, put the AMS hard point in that spot and have it sit on top of the CT below the cockpit. Maybe even make it a unique ball turret model? EHHH?

The Hero mech should definitely carry the purse. It's not really a purse, it's a man-bag.

If you thought the coconut bobble head was distracting, imagine watching that turret swing around firing lasers right outside your cockpit! ;)

I think we can all rest assured that no matter how cool Alex' concept art looks, it will look completely different once the 3D artists get their hands on it. (Ref: Trebuchet, Highlander, Victor...)
