Like Zao, I've just uninstalled instead of patching. Unless PGI makes a reply to #saveMWO or backtracks on ghost heat, I'm just done caring about this game. It's like what I went through with Black Prophecy. You're critical of their direction, but you maintain an unjustified sense of optimism despite the fact that you know better. Eventually, you have to realize that something is likely not going to change and that you can't really be bothered to keep caring anymore.
You know when my faith was highest in this game and this company? When this happened on Nov 27th:

We know that one area of the game that comes correctly under constant scrutiny is the netcode, after all what is an online game without solid stable netcode?

Why was my faith so high at a time when this game had some of its worst netcode? Because PGI was able to admit its mistake. Because they were able to be honest about something that was unambiguously wrong withe their product. I spent 120 dollars on a founders pack on faith, I spent money several times after that on faith, because I expected this game would get better. Most of the people in this thread didn't spend money on your game because they liked the product, we spent money because we hoped it would contribute to making it better.
When you see progress do a reversal and start heading back down the road it came, what are you left with? You need some evidence that things are improving, something to reinvigorate that sense of faith because without it, the game has nothing for you. If you don't like the current product and all signs point to a product that is going to get worse, you're left with very little that will help rationalize spending that money on hope alone, because at that point, you have none.
When hundreds of players, who often times do not get along with each other, decide to band together and have an honest discussion about what they feel is wrong, that should be an unquestionable indication that something
is wrong. However, if you can't even recognize there's a problem, how can anyone ever trust you to fix it? Without even that most basic element of trust, how can anyone be expected to take you seriously?
So, like I said, unless there's a reason to validate my faith once more, I'm done caring about this game.
