My overall FPS scores based on recent and current patches:

Pre-June 16th, Frozen city (any), river city (any) and Forest Colony (any) were unplayable, at 9-11 FPS, with Frozen and Causti at the worst end.

June 16th
14-21
Frozen City Snow, Caustic, River City Night and Forest Colony Snow at 14-16
Frozen City Night, River City, Forest colony and Caustic at 17-19
Tourmaline, Alpine and Canyons at 19-21

July 2nd
9-16
Frozen City Snow, River City Night and Forest Colony Snow at 9-11
Frozen City Night, River City, Forest colony and Caustic at 11-13
Tourmaline, Alpine, Caustic and Canyons at 14-16

July 16th
16-24
Frozen City Snow, River City Night and Forest Colony Snow at 16-19
Frozen City Night, River City, Forest colony and Caustic at 17-20
Tourmaline, Alpine, Caustic and Canyons at 20-24

Please, focus on reissuing older maps in the same manner as Caustic has been and overall performance for lower end PCs will improve significantly. I love what you did with it, now do it to the FCs, FCs, and RCs. As it stands, getting FCS, FCS or RCN instantly indicates that I will most likely have a bad game due to performance inconsistencies and packet loss.

Basic stats before overclocking: (I run at 100% lowest settings for an average of 18-20 FPS.)
CPU: E5300 @ 2.60
GPU: GT220 @ 1gb, 625mhz, 400mhz shader clock
RAM: 8GB G-Skill ram @ 1066

Since patch i cant get into game. I have 6 Mech's and all of them are pending as they are "ingame". Messages are Session was lost or connection timed out. I disconnected 6 times in a row when map is loading. I played today for about 3 hours or more ;) and didnt disconnect even once. I know its an issue with this patch or server is overloaded!

I have 10mbit download 4mbit upload Fiberoptic connection. Im from Slovenia (Europe).

My FPS are same as before 50-60 FPS Medium settings, 1440x900. I notice slightly less FPS spikes form 50-60 to 35. Game is playable except when people are LRM spaming (2 or 3 players) i drop to 20 FPS. Befor downgradeing OS from windows8 to windows7 i had no FPS spikes but i crashed to desktop regulary.

CPU: AMD Phenom X2 550 (unlocked cores) 3.1ghz
GPU: ATI HD 4870x2
RAM: 4GB DDR2 800Mhz

I am having some severe problems with Hit detection. last couple patches and the test servers have had some issues but now its really, really bad.

dead on, short range shots to a stationary assualt mechs can some times not register. i decapitated an enemy centurion as it ran by with an AC20 shot to its left arm.
oddly enough my ping seems to be about the same as usual, 90-110, and FPS seems to be about the same

During certain hours of the day my ping goes to 400. It usually starts at 16:00 PDT and stays there untill 22 give or take. During the other hours it's about 200 ms

Sounds like peek hours for your ISP. Everyone comes home, from work, from school, etc, hops on the internet, uses their wireless on their phones, etc etc. Then bed time at around 9 or 10.

How is it on weekends? It is a more consistent ping throughout the day?

  • The patch has really messed up my performance. Running generally 20-25 fps lower after patch. Before running at 40-50.... no 15-20 max
  • No specific conditions. Just overall low settings
  • I was running medium video settings. Now running with everything low and anti-aliasing off
  • Before patch was 55-60 in menus, 40-50 in game. Post patch, 30-35 in menus, 15-20 in game
  • GPU: gt 555M, CPU i7-2630QM @ghz, 8Gig memory. Windows 7
  • California, 30mbps down / 5mbps up

*** So I did a clean re-install... seems to have helped a bit. Getting 25-30 fps average.

FPS dropped noticeably with this patch. from 50-60 down to 20-30 with LONG pauses and black screens occuring at least 1-2 times a match,

I AM NOT PLEASED.

My FPS has dropped a little, nothing much, and my static ping has dropped to 240-250 from 270-280; however I am noticing severe issues with hit detection, it is now worse than ever, with close to over 50% of shots not registering (up from what I worked out to be less than 20% pre-patch).

Activating Thermal vision makes my fps lower a lot. Average is 30 to 40 with 60 at mechlab and more than 60 at the beginning of matches. River city night, running in my jenner with thermal on: 20- frames. Unplayable.

In general the game feels much smoother, i don't get frame stuttering on either Caustic valley nor Alpine peaks.

Thanks for fixing the polygons missing due to aggressive terrain LOD. I was so tired of seeing holes in the ground, now they're gone for good!

I'll soon try to push the graphics back up a little, my GTX 660 should hold its ground better with this patch, good work :)

Glad to see Hit Reg got worse, not to mention Rubber banding. So glad PGI spends its time on borking the heat system instead of sorting the basics of the game

How had the patch generally affected your performance? - although I voted for lower overall performance, it is negligible that said, it should be better I would think.

Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes. - Water with effects (smoke, flames and general blowed up) stuff is the biggest hit as always, and that seems to be worst affected to the tune of 5 or 6 fps.

What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? - No changes to settings (very high on all except shadows which are low, driver controled AO off, enhanced AA 8x CSAA, 1280 x 720)

Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS) - FPS is usually 30-55 and after the patch 28-50

System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])
Alienware M14x R1
GT 555 3GB Texture Mem
i7 2760QM
8GB RAM
750 G 7400RPM HD

Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location - Haliburton, ON. CAN with 6mg and 680k

edit point - okokokok. so. after further playing i am noticing a deterioration of performance. fps is consistently 5-6 fps slower and 25-30 fps slower in extreme circumstances. ping is also hit hard with an average across several matches of 20-30% higher. again, no changes to settings. getting into a match seems quite delayed as well taking much longer than normal.

While I am seeing a small increase in frame rate, there is a sense that the underlying game engine is performing worse. This is especially noticable in combat, but even in just simple walking and turning there is a sense that the frames are going by just fine, but the game isn't figuring things out as fast as it did previously. I am not seeing rubberbanding, but more often repeated stalls and glitches in the flow of the game that do not seem to correspond to frame rates issues.

Ping is still listed as 34-40 but I'm getting an awful lot of "rewinding" lag spikes where I'll see teammates running in place then all the sudden I've moved and so have they. Or I'll be trying to engage and enemy and suddenly find my mech standing out in the open because it just walked out there while I was lag spiking. All in all, lag spikes I've experienced tonight make it so I can't play effectively at all.

I've seen some noticeable framerate downgrades at times in this new patch. GTX 470. I think its the terrain, I saw it particularly on apline peaks but have also noticed times where the framerate drops into the low 20's.

first time i am able to play it without constant graphical lags, since the patch the average fps are ~30 but for me it looks the developer just enabled/added more LOD's (changed the distance) and changed the graphic features for the settings profiles...

i am only able to play it on low settings...
it's not normal for games which uses the cry engine...

my system specs are GeForce GT560, AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 6x2.80GHz, 8GB RAM, Windows 8 64bit.

as founder i am not happy with the actual stand and the launch date... my hope is the performance will be enhanced asap and all features are ready at launch...

I never had this before, but now, when viewing in the distance, some map textures are not loading. All I see are bright blue squares, probably the underlayment of the actual map textures. When I get close, they fill, and stay filled.

My ping has improved, from an average of 74 to an average of 58.

My FPS has worsened, from an average of 44 FPS, down to an average of 32 FPS......
