Big,fat, ugly NO!!! Its battletech, do some research m8. Plenty of other games have all that kind of garbage, why not play somiething giving ya what ya want instead of ****ing ppl off who play the game for years (tt and comp) with yer silly ideas.

No thank you. I've got COD and Battlefield for that kinda jig. A repair bay would be welcome for a game mode where extended periods of fighting is expected though (which we do not have at the moment).

For a new play mode i'd be for it.....

I'd be a for a home base repair station.......maybe make it destructible.
Not only that but rearm ammo. Maybe you got to shut your mech down ect.

That would be fun.

As is we are playing COUNTERSTRIKE mode........ no respawns.....you can't retreat....and we are limited to a map.

My idea of fun might be a little more twisted......I'd love the idea of something like a planetside epic map.....where i might have to walk for 5minutes just to get to the fight with "respawns" to one battle. In our round of combat to go back to base and reload a differ loadout....... that would be fun.

I prob would have loved MWLL. I think those repair options are ok just maybe not for our current setup. Maybe if we had some epic "simulator" travel times..........the fights we got right now are 15mins or less....and they are right there on the fight.

If it was up to me i'd make you march. I think those downtimes gives a good flavor to the game.........maybe even give you secondary objectives like guard duty......having to inspect containers and cargos like on x-wing or tie fighter. Maybe little tiny jobs that earn c-bills..... Gives tiny bonding moments with team mates to kinda add to the drama when they get killed.

So when your under attack......it feels like YOUR UNDER ATTACK..... not like some football game where you know when the fight happens ect.

As is I think its lil more on the "E-sport" side of things...... I rather have more immersion even RP if you have to.

I'd rather have a longer campaign mode or mission with segments where you could repair a set amount between mission phases and/or walk your mech into a mobile garage for a limited armour repair (but damaged components would still be damaged).

I don't want this, but I wouldn't be surprised if the magic silent majority did. Alongside 3rd person, and strafing, and respawns, mmmm sooooo goood.

No. We're (approximately) in the BattleTech universe, and it has no regenerative armour.

I'd be fine though with mobile field repair stations where new armour could be welded on.

How about Health Powerups! Little Armor icons that you could run over and get extra armor! Ammo boxes that refill your guns!

No regenerating health, no shields definitely no star power ups for invincibility.

I'd even be hesitant for repair bays because the lore tells us even light armour repair takes hours, given this is a simulator we want a certain level of realism even in a fictional setting.

Perhaps in a new game mode, but I like that each clash with an enemy leaves you beaten up.

Screw "realism", would be nice if we could have maybe repair bays, artillery, whatever on cap points in conquest so if you cap them you can get bonuses (very battletech feeling ones tho, no regenerating health or powerups etc of course).

i'd also like to see limited 'respawns' as drops, you bring a couple of mechs and then go through them if you want, wonder if we'll ever see that

There is a game for this... It is called Hawken and you can both play it and enjoy it without feeling likr you are cheating on MW:O, unless you found some freaky priest or minister and made some very awkward vows... then you might in fact be cheating and will be condemned to a special hell for vow breakers and people who talk at the cinema.

My vote is... No,,, Not in a million years and i am fairly liberal on most other subjects.

How about some armor that can slowly regenerate over time? The tech could be tiny nanobots slowly repair your armor over time. But could come at a cost of like say reduced damage reduction or perhaps more slots used then FF. Just a Idea.
