If you could get an instant BETA Key how much would you be willing to pay for it? And no...I do not have one for sale or anything like that. Just wondering how crazy people will get to get in the game. heheheh

EDIT: I see that the poll has been moved to "Off Topic." However, we are talking about an MWO BETA Key, so I am curious as to how an MWO BETA Key poll is considered to be off topic? It is, after all, about an MWO BETA Key.

If it came with everything in the Founder's pack I wouldn't mind paying up to $80 for it, otherwise I wouldn't pay more than $5 for just the beta key only.

im from the UK i would still pay for beta but we are still waiting for the european beta servers if it's even on the cards dont think they are giving US beta keys out to european members

Beta is not simply early access to the game. Beta is a volunteer effort to hammer out bugs, kinks and balance issues. As such, Beta keys should only be issued to those willing to volunteer. Anyone willing to pay to play in Beta should stand to scrutiny for looking to gain access for the wrong reasons.

I don't know... having people pay for Beta seemed to work for Minecraft.

Of course... it included the full game on release as well.


So... yeah, I would buy the founders pack now to test the game at this time.

Unfortunately they dont' have the capacity for all the people who wanted keys at 5$.
Instead they should get 10-1000 keys and have an auction. However, once people start paying for a game they start having certain expectations. I certainly wouldn't want to pay $100 for a game that is only available for a couple hours a day and crashes/restarts frequently.

I kind of thought that was part of the deal - buy a pack, you will be in the beta no later than July 17th.

Hardly instant if you buy a pack as soon as it is available, but still - that's where my price point came from.

You're taking the complete wrong approach into becoming a betatester.
You shouldn't be paying them to fix the game.
They should be paying you as a life insurance for not letting you in.
