Hit Detection - Extremely Bad Issue.

95% of my hits are missing an opponent despite them flashing and taking damage. On top of this most enemies seem incapable of hitting me. This is the worst hit detection since this game has begun.

There is no way to describe the sad feeling of a match of mechs who can't hurt each other. I was taking more consistent damage from falling and injuring my legs than I was from any other source of damage.

So they didnt fix it, well if PGI think is fine, it is fine then -.-

Just because something hasn't been fixed yet does not mean that PGI isn't working on fixing the issue, or that they 'think it's fine'.
Stop posting lies/false assumptions please.

Im sarcastic because it is broken for 2 months and more, man
I appreciate their work and all that but the most important thing in game is broken, really its first person shooter, and the ''Shooter'' part is broken, im waiting this every patch and nothing.

The point is your sarcasm adds nothing of value to the conversation and distracts from what may or may not be a big issue.

Hit detection is worse if it is not just as bad as it was before.

Congrats for PGI having the right priorities...

Strange, hit detection seems *much* better for me. Landing hits on lights successfully regularly

Really? Is this even important??
The point is broken hsr, which how thing standing, it wont be fixed soon, sadly

What happened to the SRM?! My hits lands perfectly in point-blank, it flash like crazy but can't do any damage at all? Burned 400+ SRM on heavy-assault mechs (big targets) in close range but did only 300ish damage... at one game even 52? What is going on?

I went through 4 tons of ammo on my DDC....200 damage...I normally do about 800 damage when I have that kind of game...

Worst it has ever been!

Similar problems on my Victor 9k. Any sort of projectile weapon right now is not connecting at all on anything going over 65kph, or not connecting on anything at all if I'm going more than 65kph.

This is really basic stuff, guys. I mean, Doom had this working over a 14.4k modem. This is not an acceptable state for the game to be charging money.

I'm getting hit more now, unfortunately it's after I duck behind a piece of terrain or as I watch the projectile fly by me but it still registers.

At this point it has nothing to do with PGI's priorities anymore.

They've admitted HSR/Hitreg is a major problem which they're practically clueless about how to fix.

That's why you'd be smart to hold of spending money unless it doesn't affect you or you have that much faith in PGI.

Along with pinpoint/weapon convergence, this is one of the biggest gamebreaking issues which will decide if this game is worth playing.

You can't rush code. If it was easy to fix they would have already done it. If some one thinks it is easy then fix it and send the code to pgi.

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!

So far, hit detection has been vastly improved on my end. I'm able to nail lights with PPCs and AC/20s without having to lead for lagshots.
