Game No Longer Loads.

When I click play before I even get to the mech lab MWO crashes and I get the typical MWO has stopped working. This is the info given:

You should put your specs in here/dxdiag as well if you want some useful help

I'm having exactly the same problem. The instant I click the big shiny 'Play' button, I get "MWO has stopped working".

I've got the same problem. It started when I installed the new patch today. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I keep getting the same error. I've updated windows, video and directx and I keep getting the error. Any help please.

same problem nothing has helped yet sent in dxdiag with support ticket.

What's funny is I think it's past the time that the "Support" guys answer tickets, so this delay in our play time is going to get really long..... like tomorrow when I'm at work long.

I'm not getting a crash report or client not responding issue. It's just that when I hit "Play" It will minimize the patcher, and not open up the client. Even after waiting for an hour.

Ask me what I think about this new patch. Worked fine before :). Hope it gets resolved and the new map is worth it.

Same thing happened to me too. Worked yesterday, didn't work today. asus with amd a8 2.0 quad core. I ran the Repair tool. Nothing happened. I reinstated, and nothing happened. I ran repair tool again, and nothing happened. I am looking for help.

I hit 'play'. the 'wait wheel rolls then stops. then nothing. then nothing. then i get a soda. then nothing. no game, no error message, no "f" you, just nothing. ran the repair tool... tried again. same results. please somebody tell this computer-stupid soul how to make the game work right again. please.

If you haven't or have ran the repair tool please make sure in the options you have selected 'Two-way consolidation'

The repair tool can be found here. If you have made changes to your system.cfg this could be the cause of you not being able to start up.

+1 did a fresh install of windows, BTW PGI you really need to include the Visual Studio redistrib and Direct X runtime in the installer cause your application gives some goofy errors when these are missing. But even on a shiny fresh install of windows the game is borked for me.

Shelgeyr, that is only working cause a part of the Avast! needs a system reboot to be completely installed. Others have reported the same as you until they rebooted their computer.

Anyhow, PGI has a sticky at the top of this subforum for feedback/questions.
