Very destructive post. Thats what i mean with ppl who cant even argue when they complain or call any weapon useless.

I've seen people use the weapon to some effect.

But by that same token, half the people they are shooting at are launching LRMs at them while eating LBX fire. So it's kind of like winning at the Special Olympics.

Someone running 4 AC5s in the same chassis can be through that same opponent in far less time, and you're in trouble if you go up against a mech that has an easier time dictating engagement ranges (such as a Jenner outfitted with medium lasers - his weapons are still effective where yours are a spray of confetti).

It's not that they are 'useless' ... just that they are 'useful' under such narrow circumstances, and even in those situations offer little advantage over other armament options.

No, they're useless. Let's not hem and haw about a weapon that even if it did have a niche, it'd be overspecialized for it in this era of mechs that hit you for optimal at 600+meters.

I love to brawl. So lbx 10 is great for me. If ya have 2 of em and jump jets, then you are on the safe side. But again you need to love brawling

I love brawling so much I know when to let go. Brawling and I have had a love-hate relationship since SRMs turn into sawdust on a % chance. (clarification: This is a joke about hit detection)

I've left brawling on the shores of the sniper meta...

No, the LBX10 is not great for you.
There are multitudes of other weapons which are all better than the LBX10 for brawling.

The LBX10 is generally worse than all alternatives, for any role.
