While you are free to drop with us at anytime, by not joining you miss out on detailed de-briefings, trainings and other nice activities, not to speak about Sake and Geishas...

Hehehe... You make a good salesman for a samurai! Unfortunately I don't have the availability for unit life right now. I am just a semi-capable team player looking for good groups to join on an ad hoc basis. I try to be on the combined TS, so I will look for you guys there.

Sure buddy. No worries. We are not really that tight up the "behind". You can drop with us anytime. :)

Join the 36th Dieron's Regulars!

If you are looking for a friendly Community to learn, improve or just play, 36th is the right Regiment for you! In due time you will be a true Samurai!

(Note: it is possible that you will look less cool than the Samurai in the previous Picture. 36th Dieron's Regular are not Responsible for your Look).

Yes, yes, it is true... Most of these Dragons from Dieron speak horrible Barbaric Language (*Cough*German*Cough*), but, fear not! They speak English too!

Plus, they let you pilot your Mech even when you are totally drunk!

Also! If you love to RP, we do have a small RP Forum Thread AND we organize Lobby\Campaigns against the Enemies of our beloved Coordinator (as those dastardly Wolf Clanners!)

Apply now!

Post Scriptum:
Sho-Ko Hosi Toranga menaced me with his Katana and forced me to write this Post! But don't worry! Fighting for the Coordinator brings true Happiness!

Konnichi-Wa Mechwarriors

As a relatively new Member of the 36th Dieron Regulars, I was asked to give my perspective about this Unit right here in this forum. So let's start with an Intro.

As a fan of Mechwarrior for Decades, Mechwarrior 2 + GBL were my first MW-Games, when I saw the trailer für MWO, I was instantly hooked. The graphics looked great, the premise seemend very promising. Only one thing bothered me: As I found out... it was going to be Multyplayer and I always was a sucker for Story and Lore and Multyplayer-Games never scratched that itch for me.

Since it would be Free2Play, I decided to give it a shot anyway in 2012, but I never considered joining a Unit as it would mean, having to get to know new people, having to be at "Guild-Raids" or else be asked questions... for short it seemed like time-consuming work to me. So MWO was an On/Off-Experience for me. It was fun enough that I kept coming back, but it wasn't enough to keep me in.

Fast forward to October 2016: In a PUG-Match I had the honor to play with Hoshi Toranaga, a Member of the 36th Dieron, who send me a link to their Homepage and invited me to join them. He seemed like a nice person, so I gave their site a shot and after reading a bit through former applications I was a bit surprised. The tone of its members seemed fun already, although I didn't even cross the line of writing an application yet. So this Unit seemed interesting enough for me to give this guys a try. And I wasn't disappointed.

I enjoy my time with the 36th Dieron so much. The Leadership is very human, open and welcoming, while you still get that they are experienced Mechwarriors, some evening running their engines since the Tabletop-Games.

And that are just the officers. We have many different persons, many different characters, but everyone is getting along very well. Even when it is getting heated in the fight, it seems with the 36th it's very much like: A fight is a fight and a Unit is a Unit. The fight stays on the Battlefield, not inside the Unit. When we drop together I can always be sure to have fun. When I join the TS I always have nice chats or when I have questions, I never feel like too much a rookie.

The 36th Dieron to me is a Down-to-Earth-Unit that works because of the atmosphere the players generate, the way people are integrated into the Unit and through motivation and comradie packs a punch.

I am not able to tell if this playstyle is for all of you, and that isn't my task anyway. But I welcome you to try us. Don't believe a word I say... put it to the test.

Thank you for your time.

Banzai and see you on the field.

Kashira Carl Nilfgaard

P.S.: And yes you even can have roleplay in the forums if you wish... but you don't have to. ;-)

I tried to register on your site last night to make an application. However when I hit register the page just hangs for me for some reason. Same thing happening this morning. I don't know if it's a problem at my end or yours.

Hi,

Please make sure you answered the security question (there is a question for anti-spam asking which House we are in) and then there is a Captcha code and you need to fill out BOTH of those.
The registration should now work without any problem.

Thanks for your effort.

OUT of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

The Storm is here, the Clans prepare for final battle. Luthien has been saved, but it is in ruins.
The 36th stand tall and we are prepared to defend at all costs, like Theodore Kurita has tought us.

Been almost a year with these guys, learned so much (about sake, weird traditions and friendship). After 10 years of managing my own Quake 3 Team i wasn't sure if i could live with a unit, i would not manage myself (much like a freelancer going back to office work). But yes - definetely woth it! :)
