It's either or, not both. The regular mechs are purchasable with MC so you can skip grinding out the C-Bills to buy them that way.

It's EITHER MC or Cbills for ones that list both prices.

No, you don't need MC to buy mechs.
Use C-bills to buy mechs.

Advice:
I'd definitely consider selling the Awesome - pretty much ANY mech is better.
Make sure you have enough C-bills to buy your next mech.

Or simply restart another account - after 25 games on trial mechs you should be able to buy any mech.

How would you find this thread to randomly decide to answer it (with all the previous answers already given and the last post being a little more than half a year ago)?

Edit: Seriously, most pages dated back then are on page 27. o.O; 27!!! That's how far back I had to go to find one dated in August, and even then it's pretty lonely with others that are a bit more modern.
