Fairly new the the game as I only started a couple of weeks ago. That said, I used to play a lot of MW3 and MW4 back in the day and was a member of a clan and all that. Anyway, I'm not affiliated with any group right now, so all my games have been random public matches.
Most of the time, noone takes charge and everyone either spreads all over or just follows the heard. Well, last night after a few real bad matches I ended up in a game of Conquest on the Tourmaline Desert map. I'm in Charlie lance and I typed in lance chat "Lets go get Epsilon".. and wonders of wonders, the whole lance agrees. We Take Epsilon with no sight of any enemy. So, I say "Lets slip around back and take Sigma" , Again Charlie lance agrees as a whole and we procede to take Sigma without any resistance.
Now, our team has three resources to the opposing teams two resources. At this point we head to Theta in the middle of the map where the heavy fighting is. As we arrive the last mech from the Alpha/Bravo lances of our team gets destroyed. Charlie lance came in over the rise and took the remaining opposing forces by surprise and took them out without a casualty, winning the game.
Afterwards, somone on our team called us cowards for not engaging. I thought we did good, since , even though I'm fairly new, I don't how many matches were lost becuase the other team out-capped us. I have much respect for the fight Alpha/Bravo put up against three lances... But I thought we played it smart.
Opinions?
