this idiotic heat system with added ghost heat needs to go right into the trash bin though

Shared Alpha for SRM6 and SRM4, and sell a hero mech with 3 SRM6 and 2 SRM4....yup, sounds reasonable.

Critical change is a pretty drastic gameplay mechanic to introduce this close to release time..

It does, in fact.

Don't fire them all at once. Problem solved. Stop pretending alpha strike is the only way to shoot.

Oh yeah, the Catapult A1 doesn't have any backup guns, why is it a trial mech, as in "the mech that is to be used by new players" trial mech?

Also, the Cicada? Totally the one with the PPC/MGs, not good for beginners either.

Good job picking the trial mechs!

Could care less about the A-1 Catapult but the Golden Boy!!!! Talk about an SRM MACHINE!!! Might have to buy me one ^o^

Pulse Lasers have a shorter duration I love!

Curious about how much longer capping takes in both modes. Test to see if that cap accelerator module will come in handy ;)

But, I did not see that any map issues were addressed, and there are some serious problems on Terra Therma..,,just saying?

in short a buff to the crit seeking weapons, if you weapon deal 5 dmg and crits, then it's 5 dmg to inner structure, plus the crit dmg (let's say x2 ) who wrecks the component plus a 15% of such crit dmg extra to the inner structure.

It determines what degree slope the mech can traverse without slowdown.

Mechs don't have a "base damage." The notes mean that when a PPC deals a 1x crit to an AC20 for 10 damage, then 1.5 of that damage is also dealt to the internal structure of the section where the AC20 is mounted.

AKA, mechs will die faster. Because that's really what the game needed right now, mechs to die faster.

This would make sense with a lower heat cap, and without the heat penalty system.

Or just let's PGI stay faithfull for the TT everytime you alpha you can?

a: get overheat and stay shutdown for 30sec -1 min
b: spent all ammunition in a single salvo

so wich TT rule ppl want into game?

Awesome! Looking forward to 12v12 drops! Terra Therma will suddenly become a lot more interesting.

That determines how much speed reduction the mech suffers from going over slopes, as per the movement changes a couple of patches back.

Some weapons (machine guns, lbx AC) have a multiple chances to crit when hitting exposed components. This looks like an attempt to buff those weapons while maintaining their (PGI intended) role as crit seekers.
