I will buy an elite to support the game. I am not sure at this time if my laptop will run it, i believe that eventually i will be able to play it. I've supported less interesting games and don't feel like it will go to waste.

I'd imagine just about every mechwarrior fan will be going for the 60 pack since we've been craving a new game for years its like former alcy addict going on a bender after 10 years of being sober the price is no prob

So, there's really only 1 level of founders pack that matters; in that you actually get a mech. Not seeing the value of the $30 one really.

Not having any idea what mechs are available, or how much $1=Cbills is frustrating, and the reason I haven't gone there with my wallet.

Also, I have to question... is $60 for a game that is in rough beta playtest pre-balance with no UI or minimap a good investment? That's what I paid for BF3 and Diablo III, both very polished experiences. Perhaps its more a comment on the relative value of 'premium' for a couple months and some startup cash, but there is almost zero chance I'll ever buy another cbill after initial purchase.

I chose the $60.00 as a yes but it is based on it I can afford it on the release date. Most likely it will be a few days after it is released when I buy it but yes I will buy it.

I'm curious if they created an even higher price point, maybe a few $100 to even $1k for some kind of super custom stuff how many people would do it.

Realistically maybe not $1000, but I could see myself throwing a couple hundred bucks for a nice package of cool stuff.

It has been 10 yrs after all... I spend $60/wk on my smoking habits so that's nothing!

My question to the Devs, though, is what about gifting a package? My brother recently graduated HS, and I have a friend who used to play MW a long, long time ago whose birthday is the 17th. I'd like to get them both Founders packages as gifts, but I need to know if that will be possible?

Also, what forms of payment are expected to be accepted? (hoping for PayPal!)

I'll try to answer from what I know.

1. Everyone gets a Mech at the start, just the founders mechs look a little different with paint and minor body work but everyone DOES get a mech at start.

2. There are a few lists posted showing what the Starting mechs are, there is even a thread that shows what the founders mechs look like VS the regular mechs (although it may not be complete) and you can easily look them up.

3. They have done a great deal of testing so far so I think what will come out on the 17th will be something fairly well developed needing just a few small tweeks if at all. But this is just speculation on my part as I don't really know.

This is my problem as well. What exactly are you getting for the money besides a mech? In other betas, there were a number of resets. Am I paying money to get credits that will ultimately go away during the beta period and at the actual launch point or will they reset every time so when we're out of beta, I also get the credits I bought to start over with?

As long as it didn't affect game play ie. Gold Ammo, and make this a Pay to Win game (and the Devs have said that it was not going to be a P2W game) then they might sell a few of them but probably not enough to make it worth the effort on their part to put something like that together.

I'm buying the Elite Founder's Pack, no matter what.

I'd like to add my two clams - Being based in Australia I completely understand that I'm probably going to have a poor ping in the early days of release. I don't care that much to be honest, but if you ever open an Oceania server center - Please let me take my founder assets with me. I'm not likely to buy a second founder's pack and lose the other account, I'd rather play on the NA server with a poor ping.
