Game is unplayable now, even on the absolute lowest possible settings.

This needs some fixing.

Nope, the 50 other posts all over these forums, especially on the Patch Feedback forum, where patch feedback is supposed to be posted, prove that "you're on an island there."

Luckly I just bought a 660TI boost OC or else the game would have been unplayable for me now.

With the new card, I was running 55-60 FPS no problem prior to 12 vs 12.  Now I am hitting lows in the 20-21 fps range with an average of about 35 so roughly a 40-60% reduction.  With my prior card I was barely managing 25-35 fps so definately upgraded at the right time.

The problem is just that bad optimization is being compounded by weaker hardware. That effect gets out of control real fast. Mine isn't new anymore, but i7 930@3.8 no HT, 6GB 1600CL6 RAM, and SLI 560Ti isn't shabby at all, and the game is still having noticeable problems, mostly when there's a lot of effects. Running all maxed except AA, drop from 60 stable to unplayable when everyone goes full disco.

only when assaults and heavys think they are lights and join me in a cat fight with other lights...

J*C! You heavys and assults need to stop fireing and jumping in dog piles. Let the lights deal with lights and work on your own kind!

I'm not surprised. A larger performance hit was a problem I observed with 12v12 on the test server too.

No framerate or performance dropping here. I get the every now and then rubberband that I got before this patch but even that is extremely rare. Once in about 4 games and it's very brief.

Yes, I see I own a machine that exceeds the minimum specs and doesn't have to worry about" all the other games I play at low settings that get me 30 fps". I just run all games at high settings and see excellent fps. It's not my problem other people don't. I was asked a question and I responded with a true and on topic statement. Is any part of my answer not correct?

An F2P game shouldn't be relying only on people that blow their wad on maintaining top-of-the-line systems.

I don't play a lot of video games other than this, so buying a new gaming PC would be spending a lot of money just for this game. Not worth it to me, especially with the direction the game is going.

My FPS was pegged before....low 40's now. Game's slowly dying, folks. It's unplayable for A LOT of people now. Player base will dwindle quickly IMO.

It's currently borderline for me. ~25 isn't entirely terrible, but it is interfering with my ability to hit non-stationary crap.

Apparently lots of people are experiencing the same thing. Support have asked that you submit tickets and attach your DXDIAG report files, so please do. The issue may have something to do with specific video card families.

Please submit these, as my frames have dropped from 30ish to 10-20, single figures in most fights, and my rage is so palpable that my pets and children are cowering in fear, terrified at the fury radiating from my glowing red eyes whilst they try in vain to navigate a floor strewn with pieces of annihilated computer parts, lest even the most infinitesimal sound ATTRACT MY IRE.

It's dropped a few but it's still playable for me. Just a 5 framerate increase would be fine anyway. Also, try using the repair tool people. A decent amount have said it apparently helps with framerate somehow.

Heh, if there is no problem why do I start at 4-7 fps and as mechs die go up to acceptable 20-25 max fps? Pre-patch was 35 only dropping to 20-25 in big fights.

How do you do this and retrieve the DXDIAG file to send to support?

It's ok on medium on my 4 year old system .. I'm using a Radeon HD5850 card and getting 35+ fps on that. My processor is an i7 second generation at 3Ghz. But generally for poor frame rates a new graphics card will give you the most bangs for bucks.

But the first thing you can try is to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.

Rubber banding is usually caused by server to client lag, i.e. your computer moves you forward and communicates to the server you are moving forward, but for some reason the server is slow to process this information, So it sends information to your computer telling it that you are not where you think you are and jumps you back to a prior position . At least it's something like that.
