Cbill nerf didn't impacted me much, but I saw the numbers go low by a good degree. The problem is that I'm sitting over 215 mil cbills. I'm not far from 900 mil Cbills earned so far, and I've played with roughly 1.2 months of PT, with some help from my Atlas Founder and an Ilya Muromets, that both I rarely take for a spin (and I still have left my 2 months founder time).
I've already plenty of weapons, engines mechs (33), so I'm rarely in need of "spending" much.

The biggest expenses for me are when I want to master a new chassis, but as you may guess I don't have any new chassis to exp besides hopefully the Orion if that's the launch mech for September. Kintaroes for me are on standby as soon as I read feedback after Sept 3rd patch in regard of the huge CT issue.

But.. whenever I hear newcomers, they all feel the same as I read here with the new patch. Not everyone with the previous cbill levels could easily earn 250/300k for huge wins; right now when I rack up 5 kills, 7 assists, spotting, savior kills, component destructions and whatsoever I rarely see 160-180k for wins, barely reaching 100k when losing. Since a newbie will hardly do similar things, the grind is abysimal and I feel their pain.

PGI did it wrong, not much about the huge nerf itself, but about the time that now it's necessary to go through much longer matches. They slashed the earnings too much, and if their aim was to weaken the "bank accounts" like mine they failed miserably rendering this game more of an hell for newbies that should enjoy the game and then start cashing in MCs for holding down more mechbays, maybe some heroes and such.

dude. i am on premium time, no hero mech and still find the cbill grind annoying. some people on my unit have millions of cbills, but i hate the fact that i have to grind like 11mio cbills to make my victor the way i like it (given the fact that it needs a bigger engine, endo-stell and DHS)

I'll throw this open challenge right here for all you founders who think the new c'bill levels are fine .

Make a new account , play it for 2 weeks and see how many mechs you have . Then come back and tell us how much you enjoyed your new user experiance .
