I'm generally OK with 12v12....BUT..... give us the option of an 8v8 match back. Also, have the option of 4v4 seems like a no brainer at some point. i.e. by launch?

The player base will adapt to the new 12v12 reality. I have found that it changes some things for the better and some things for the worse. We just need to adapt. I predict it will significantly reduce the number of lights (which is a good thing) because it is harder for them to hide (which I guess is what the OP is seeing) and slightly reduce the number of brawler builds because it is a lot more lethal to run into the fray. All in all the game is even more Assault-centric now.

Of course, things will change again when they bring in tonnage restrictions which I can't wait for.

I don't mind 12v12 on the 3 larger maps, Terra Therma, Alpine Peaks and Tourmaline Desert but it sucks so much on the rest of the maps which were really created for 8v8.

I agree. The larger maps needed 12v12 so badly, but the smaller maps are absolutely crowded now.

Honestly I thought that was exactly what PGI was going to do, only add 12v12 for the big maps. Ever since Alpine came out they were all like "well this was designed with 12v12 in mind." I was super confused the first time I dropped into River City after the patch and counted 12 team mates...

It wouldnt be so bad if they had capable communications to allow players to react or assign orders relatively fast without having to resort to voice comms. The fact that you can only issue orders or report information through the chat system or the map is bad. The fact that this game still has no basic functionality pretty much states it all.
