Agreed, but...

New players are part of the game and without new players the game dies. So really, the CBill nerf affects everyone.

This is to short circuit any "JUST DO BETTER! THERE ARE MORE MECHS SO YOU CAN DO MORE IF YOU'RE GOOD AND MAKE EVEN MORE THEN BEFORE!" dead end line of thought.

Quoting just because my "not trying" earnings were higher.

So here's a serious question. What's your average earnings?

Mine's higher with the nerf. I'd average around 118 to 127,000 . I now average 130,000 or more, typically in the 137 to 144,000 range.
This one, I wasn't particularly trying but thought I'd quote it because ~this~ is what I used to earn before the nerf with a hero mech.

Most of my LRMs missed, I had an AC/2, medium laser, and I did some brawling.

I'm just curious. Have you taken a look at your earnings, and what are you doing to earn it?

The C-Bill reduction only really hurts new players. If you have a founders tag and complaining shame on you. How much free Premium Time did PGI give us. Right now I am the guy you can't buy anything for because he has everything. I don't even look at the reward screen anymore. I look at the damage and kills and move on the next round to pew or be pewed. Gone are the days of swapping engines, although i do occasionally slum it and have to exchange modules from one mech to another, Even that is beginning to feel uncivilized. The point is I won't feel the sting of the new economy. We should be arguing new players receive better bonuses to relieve that initial grind. The game only really gets fun when have your own mech to tweak. I am afraid that many new players will be frustrated by their early game and quit.

I 100% agree!
Double Cadett Bonus and let the rest just cry if they think this is a kindergarten rpg.

I never understood why people need to max out new mechs the moment they buy them, they lose wonderfull moments of progress that way.
Adult's with children know what I mean, the rest should accept their role, and just be childish.
