MW2 Mercs, far and away. Good campaign, engaging combat, really gives you the feeling of being a bit player caught up in massive events beyond your control.

That said, MW3 has a special place in my heart because of how well the mission briefings were done.

I always thought Mechwarrior 3 is the Battletech players mech game. Being in the mech lab is like filling out your critical slots table. Even the weapon damage is just like the tabletop game charts. I love too, when the arms go spinning off and that satisfying sound that accompanies it.
