Just wanted to hopefully put the idea in your heads PGI, especially since we are in dire need of another decent light mech.

FIRESTARTER.

There are 5 variants and one is ECM capable if you wanted to add it. Great little 35 ton light and a humanoid alternative to the Jenner.

Please consider adding this mech at some point.

Another light mech will just exasperate the gigantic game breaking issue called hit registration.

Why? Just do like everyone else and fit as many PPCs as possible in it.

You would need to balance this chassis very carefully as it would have the same engine cap as the Raven-3L with jumpjets and a very large number of energy hardpoints. For that reason I think the ECM version would not be included, rather the BAP model.

LOL, I did that long time ago and even bought Amaranth at regular price to paint my entire mech a bright pink color.

Just said I would never get to make my "Mouser" Variant. Replaced 3 of the Flames with MGs (The arm and rear ones) with 6 more forward MG (3 per arm) letting it have 8 forward MG and a Flamer, which was insta-death to any infantry squad, plus 2 Medium Lasers for fighting larger stuff.With that guy, and the 3 modified Urbies in that lance, I could promise you that part of the City would not fall!

Also, I think the OP spelled Urbanmech wrong. I think his keyboard has some sort of algorithm in it that spelled out Firestarter.

MWO doesn't have rear mounted weapons. A Firestarter without that center torso rear flamer (mounted as low as possible), just wouldn't have the same effect.

A true Firestarter has to shoot flames in all directions, especially with the rear mounted flamer looking like it's shooting out of it's butt.

What if they made rear mounted weapons possible and rear camera was a module, working as 4x Zoom does?

Anyway, yeah, I'd be all over the FS9 like white on rice. I'd probably buy more mechbays for it.

Also, I'm not sure if I should be happy that someone made the Prodigy reference, or disappointed that I got beat to it.

IIRC the reason why they don't have rear cameras or anything other than forward cameras is that apparently Cryengine doesn't support multiview drawing.

Yeah this is my thinking.

6 ML
ECM
4 JJ
245XL
200 armor
FULLY ARTICULATED ARMS

or 4 MLs and 2 MGs

Not to mention that fact it has arms which would actually protect the torso a bit as well.

I would even be happy without the ECM to be honest.

Which is why 360 degree radar should have been a feature since per lore and BT rules, mechs had a 360 degree field of vision.
