the main issue why not many implementations of dual socket mobo is the pain in the *** stability
and dual socket does not mean dual mobo system bus lanes, in fact the 2 CPU have to share the system bus lanes
Intel Xeon does have dual socket but it still buggy and expensive to build and maintain

Lets see APUs hit 4cores 3.5-4.0ghz, with GPU that is comparable to reference model GTX 560Tis or AMds6950s.......

Well... Kaveri supposedly is going to be somewhere between an HD7730 or HD7750. The HD7750 is about as good as the GTX550Ti so... excavator might do the job.

I wonder if people using fx CPUs are aware of, and use, some hotfixes Microsoft made specially for Bulldozer.

Specially the first patch should help with that problem using only half the cores badly.
I'm actually using a Intel Q6600 with an HD4850, so it doesn't apply to me but i might want to upgrade soon.
