God I Hate This New C-Bill Gain Rate....it Is Just Painful!

I bought an Altas DDC just before the patch with the intention of finally purchasing my three variants and mastering them out. Now, almost one week after the patch I have managed to say up ONLY 8.2 mil C-bills. At this rate it will be the middile of the week before I can even aquire my second Atlas.
On top of that, we have the Kintaro coming out just around the corner which I want to be able to buy and outfit at least one variant upon release.
So anyway, I am sitting here trying to figure out what to do.
1 - Keep saving up for that Atlas that I won't be able to aquire until maybe tomorrow or Wensday, take another week and a half to get the third variant and not have enough for my Kintaro when it comes out.
2 - Forget unlocking the Altas totally because it is just too darn expensive to unlock all three (at my pace I am looking at 3 weeks of playing before I can get all three). Then look at another cheaper mech I want to try out so I can at least NOT be bored with zero progression going on.
3 - Sit paralyzed by indecision and bored like I am now because I can't afford to do any of the things I want to do even with premium and hero mechs.
The point of this....Just a rant that I fricken hate making 1/2 of what I used to be able to do because of the nerf to C-bills and increased match times. The whole damn situation is just frustrating me to no end and I am not even having fun right now.
The Grind is just painful now. I am sitting on needing 18 million credits right now just to get the the XL engine I want to test in my mech, plus two chassis not including anything upcomming. Averaging 100k per match isn't cutting it.
Please re-evaluate things and give us a patch tomorrow that gets us back to what we were making pre-patch, I just can't take it any more.

On average before I would get around 125 to 150 k on a good win and around 60 k on a good loss. Now its more like 75 to 100k max on an average win. (2 or 3 kills / 200 to 400 damage)
Now my c-bill earnings for winning is closer to what it used to be for a loss.
I'm going to move onto something else for the foreseeable future. I'm not grinding for a month to get one new variant.

I used to make ~100-180k per match, now it's down to 70-150k.
What's worse (to me) is that the XP gain has stayed roughly the same (even heightened with the 2x bonus) so i'm ending up mastering all the mechs I already have, and still being short when I want to buy a new mech.
Before the ratio was such that when you'd finished eliting/mastering a set of 3 mechs you'd have enough CBills to buy the next set of 3, now I'm falling short.
It's not a big deal to me, since I'm looking at 12 new mechs getting dumped on me with Project Phoenix, and I'm not all too hot about the Kintaro since I saw the hitboxes, but it's still a tad annoying.

Instead, I think it is far more productive to fix such obvious bugs like freezing mid-game which can result in hard crashes 20% of the time - and also all these session losts, disconnects, HSRs, light hitboxes etc.
Unless of course, you want to steer your playerbase to paying for MC instead of grinding by making grinding even more painful - well then I guess that's far easier than fixing the above obvious bugs.

You are out of luck my friend. If you have followed the development of the game in the last few months you will know that PGI's top priority is monetizing.

I should have known a c-bill nerf was going to come sooner or later.
Wasn't it nice in the old days when a Beta was an actual Beta and not part of the marketing department's / publisher's advertising scheme?

I suppose they ran out "gee thanks" gas.

Start light (Raven), then Medium (Cicada, for the purposes of the MM and money saving), then Heavy (Catapult), then Assault (Atlas, which I spent little less time, due to double XP weekend).
I had to kind of recoup some of the cost afterwards by going with the Jenner...
In any case, somewhere along the line of being cost conscious and trying to grind in the tourneys... the money kept flowing... and it hadn't stopped since. When you're doing everything that make the money (doing hordes of damage, with the Stalker at that time), the money flows...
Now, it'll be a way more painful grind.

I don't get the reference about a decade. Is it referring to CW or something? Or how Microsoft did nothing with the BT IP for a decade after MW4?

The Clan invasion takes roughly 10 years to to complete. That is what MWO is about the Clan invasion. At least to start.
