What role do you intend on filling?

If you want to scout, the stock weapons load is good, maybe replace a ML with a TAG. Mixing it up with other lights and harassing heavies the stock load is good, too. (Mine is near stock, I stripped some armor for a jump jet.)

Another option for harassing big boys is to go for a LPL.

A fast, long range sniper/harasser can go with a PPC/ERPPC/LL/ERLL. Maybe a couple short range back-up weapons if you go for the large.

A mobile light missile platform? A pair of LRM5, ammo, TAG, maybe a ML if you go light on ammo or strip some armor. Can't recommend this, though.

You only have 4 energy hardpoints. So that's 3 tons left over after getting 4 SPLs. Enough for an SRM4 & ammo, I guess.

Does this factor in ammo? If it doesn't, 4 meds + 2 SSRM2s do exactly that.

If it doesn't, just remove a med, so you get your 1 ton of ammo. Bam, done.

I usually run 4 medium lasers and 2 SRM 4s on my Jenners. I realize that with one ton of ammo that's 9 tons, but it hits like a brick. Just downgrade to an XL 280 and shave some armor or something.
The standard SRMs aren't that great for hitting fast-moving light mechs though. For that you'd want streaks.
It's not a bad build bone-stock.

you forgot the 1 ton of ammo those SRMS need.... (well, 2 tons would be better)

Mine has an ERPPC and a TAG on one side and two slas on the other. I think I kept the beagle active probe. I put a few Jump jets on it. I used to run this without the tag and beagle and had two mlas instead of slas. Either worked well if you are good at staying out of the thick of it.

I run mine basically stock. 4 ML and 2 SSRM's. I had contemplated swapping the streaks for SRM's, but I decided to leave it stock. I dropped 1 ton of ammo for 2 JJ's. I moved the SSRM ammo to the head.

I think this is a very potent build for the little Jenner.

Why the LRM5? Because you're going to be stuck in a box for half the match on conquest so at least you'll get to shoot someone.

My Founders-D runs quite comfortably with 4ML, 2SRM4 (2t) 5jets, and a 280xl engine.

If I was to cut down the weapons, I'd go to 4smalls and 2SRM4s.
