I prefer 2 SRM4's, 2 mediums, 2 smalls.

Then again, depends if you want ammo or not.

I can fit 2 tons of ammo, so i'm not sure where you are just getting 7 tons

Definately nothing wrong with chosing the 2 SRM4 route but I perfer more precision weaponry and cool running. Therefore I would rather use my weight for heatsinks rather than additonal the additonal SRM launcher and the additional weight in ammo it requires.

Really depends on playstyle though. The dual SRM4 build is probably better at straight up hit and run where as a build focusing on heatsinks to run the MLs is more about sustained damage.

I prefer SPLs, partially because they run cooler for the same DPS (1.24DPS for SPLs, 1.25DPS for MLs).

Like a few other people said, I dunno where you're getting 7 tons for weapons/ammo. My personal build uses 10 tons for weapons/ammo without sacrificing engine size or armor (okay, 12/18 armor on the head if you want to be picky).
