PGI had announced players would play based upon region. Due to such, AU is now recruiting for regional detachments. This excerpt from our recruitment policy summarizes the purpose of this post:

"Regional Detachments: As part of an initiative to reach out to other regions on Earth -because MechWarrior Online players will be required to select a region to play within-, Armageddon Unlimited will encourage the formation of detachments that will operate both as a part of the existing Armageddon Unlimited rank and unit structure, and as semi-autonomous elements. We desire to have individuals from other regions around the world –most likely broken down by continent (Africa, South America (part of the America’s, but likely to be its own region), Asia, Australia and Oceania, and Europe)– join our ranks, and we will make room for each, though recruiting of further MechWarrior’s may be required if you’re the first or the few."

These regional detachments will under go operation on their own and together as the unit of AU. We are looking for players of any general gender/age/location; however our range of acceptance can only be so wide.

Some information regarding the structure and over action of the detachments:

1) Detachments would be a total part of the rank structure.

2) A detachment would begin with their own Lance. As more players join, it will grow per their recruitment, whether they are one, or just a few members looking for more.

3) If they reach the size of a Company, or a larger rank structure, they will be able to name it and submit a logo for approval and posting.

Currently, we look for the following traits in others for recruitment like: a sense of teamwork, a good attitude to others/respect for others, and the ability to follow orders. It is extremely important to obey orders given. We would prefer experience with MechWarrior/Battletech games, tabletop, and the such; a great and friendly attitude, and real experience in the Military.

You can find us at our website: http://www.wolvesau.net/AU/

Our teamspeak channel is in the No Guts no Galaxy sever @ts7.gameservers.com:9196. We are listed under Mercenary Units and you can find some of our members online after 6:00pm EST under either the Recruitment Office or Patrick's Drop Zone Bar and Grill

We await and look forward to your application. Let em' know that Serpentine sent you.

Good morning!

I'm Semyon, I've been hanging around for a while now on the servers and forum looking for somewhere to belong lol.

I'm based in Australia and I'm interested if you've had any other applicants for a regional detachment here?

I haven't yet got my new rig hence not having this rather sad laptop set up for teamspeak or other goodies so i have to rely on simple email and the forums to communicate. Can you drop me a line?

Many thanks

Semyon

The Armageddon Unlimited Recruitment Policy page has now been updated, and it includes our goal to have regional detachments, as well as the end-game vision for our unit in the way of honor, and getting there -> http://www.wolvesau....cruitpolicy.php

Reactivation Orders for Armageddon Unlimited are out, as of this morning, though they are back-dated to January 28th, 2014. We will be working passive recruitment for those willing to join/rejoin a MilSim Mercenary Combat Command, and are on-track for full reactivation around the end of June or early July, 2014. We support overseas elements, specialty groups, and units whose leaders are already overwhelmed by the administrative process that is required, at a minimum, by all organizations, while maintaining structures, converting ranks to ours, and with the caveat that unit members will act in accordance with our policies and procedures, which may be found here!

AU is a growth-oriented mercenary unit whose vision and goals are to act like mercenaries, not thugs or criminals, in-game, especially as we do not hold to the commonly held, and incorrect, definition of what a mercenary is. Though mercenary's do perform work for the highest bidder, that does not mean we have to act like animals, nor that we will kill everything not in our path to accomplish our goals.

If you're looking for a relatively serious MilSim experience, you understand rules, vision, and goals are there to guide the unit, and you believe that earning your place, your rank, and your awards is important, then we're the place for you. Look us up, see what you think.

Because my friend Serpentine is no longer a member of Armageddon Unlimited, and I needed to have the ability to edit the OP of this thread, I have been forced to make a new thread, which appears at http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__3522957 .

I apologize to anyone who is put out by the double posting this fine evening.
