Well.. there was nothing wrong with the Kintaro hit detection boxes on the test servers with this 'Mech. Sometimes when PGI transfers content to the live servers, things can change. Obviously the Golden Boy was one of these exceptions. It's still an excellent choice out of the Heros as far as I'm concerned. They just have to find all the problems and neutralize them. These things can take time.

I know that my GB will stay on the shelf until they fix It.. but this does not mean It Is a regrettable purchase for me.

It is the only mech on the field that gets more easily neutralized than an Awesome's CT or a Raven's legs. It is hard to call a mech excellent when it has the same surviveability rate as a newbie in a trial mech.

When mech is clearly bugged, you should take it off the market until fixed rather than letting people run with it. It ruins the game experience and balance. Whether you make the mech unavailable for purchase or selection (if alreayd owned) or whatever. LoL and other games will freeze the champion and not let it be available for play till issue is resolved.

It is deterimental to the team when a Kintaro pilot runs around trying to brawl with SRMs or SSRMs and get themselves taken out with couple Alphas of PPC/Gauss combo.

Sounds like Golden Boy sales were low cuz word spread of its badness. Hope the next hero mech is decent. It will probably be an OP Davion loving variant.

As someone who's favorite mech is the Awesome, I know how to deal with CT issues and neutralize some of the bad hitbox coding with torso twisting and clever use of cover. I bought a Kintaro, played ten matches, then sold it. Awful and impossible to stay alive.

Nothing. And there should be nothing. People who sold their Kintaro(s) did so of their own volition. They can buy another if they like, or not. Nobody forced them to sell, and if they'd shown a tiny, tiny bit of patience they'd have seen that fixes where in the pipe.

Hell, I still have my Awesomes, awaiting the day they get fixed (which is apparently fairly soon) - why not? Mech bays cost bus fare, and you lose a LOT of cbills selling mechs.
